Traveling through to St. Louis and looked for a quick bite around 730pm decided to give Girolamo a try. Was seated right away,... our server Jennifer was WONDERFUL! She was friendly, service was quick and ZERO complaints!! We ordered apps and pizza and theyarrived quick and hot! The Garlic knots were amazing when they arrived to the table I thought there was alot of Butter but itwas tasty and I would definitely order again. The Connoli was good, reminded me of pizza bites and missing the Italian flavorI'm use to. The Pizza we order..the crust was what is hard to find anywhere that I've had pizza..it was crispy and crunchy likea cracker crust, the vegetable toppings looked fresh cut except for the mushrooms, the meats were good. The sauce of the pizzamay be great to some but to me lacked the homeade flavor I was looking for. All in all good local place to get a quick bite. Read more

They advertise "homemade pasta". Yet I know their Gordon's driver and he has shown me the invoice. Their dishes are... frozen. Their pizza is not like it was when Frank's parents were alive. Now it's so greasy that it soaks through a pizza box.Nothing about their food is authentic Italian. You will get more quality by buying pizza from Casey's or one of the other localestablishments. If you do decide to spend your money at this place, be prepared to be insulted by Frank's wife. She hasabsolutely zero respect for her customers and won't hesitate to embarass you in front of other customers. And GOD FORBID if youcomplain about anything. Read more

Disregard the fact that I look like I'm making love to that pizza. I was enjoying my time together with it! Nostalgia is strong... with this one. Awesome food! It's good enough that my memory didn't recognize a difference. Salad and pizza were both like Iremembered. You won't destroy your childhood with this one! Highly recommended!
