Went for lunch while on vacation in Brown County. We ate inside, but they also have a patio/sidewalk seating area. We got... breadsticks, a calzone, and a 16" pizza. The pizza was good, breadsticks were good, but the calzone was the bomb. Was a bitpricey at $60 though. Read more
Review based on a dine in experience on a Saturday afternoon. We had a pretty large party of 10 with reservations made. We got... seated We had our drink orders taken first which came up in pretty impressive times. Appetizers and main orders were placed nextwith 4 of the 5 couples appetizers orders coming out after about 20 minutes of wait time. The 5th one was apparently forgotten.We could see the order behind the glass warmer but the waitstaff didn't come around again until time to bring out the main meal.The food all looked good. My breadsticks for appetizer were just okay. A garlicky butter was brushed on top of some rather blanddough. I ordered the 10" Margherita pizza. The same bland dough taste carried over to the pizza crust. It's not woodfired orcoal fired based upon the undercarriage. The dough had no snap, however the crust did. The sauce was a deep red and had verygood tomatoe flavor. They were pretty heavy on the mozzarella cheese for a Margherita style pizza. The tomatoes were thicklysliced. There was also Basil. The pizza was just okay to me also. The drinks are well made and seem to be the star of the showhere in my opinion. I would visit again in the future and try a different menu item. The food is good at an outrageous price! They leave the exit door propped open so customers can freeze and make food cold... quicker. They don't have domestic beer. The menu is very small. You need to bring real straws. The service only missed a fewthings. No free refills!!! It gets very noisy to the point you can't hear your company!! The restrooms are disgusting andunisex!!! Talk about delicious, this place is damn good haha. The beer selections were varied and flavorful, it ran the spectrum of IPA's... and ales, plus stouts. All very tasty and full bodied. We also enjoyed the pizza and nachos, super delicious. If you ever go tothis small town of Nashville, Indiana, you stop by at Big Woods Pizza and Quaff On Brewery. The pizza sauce is amazing- it's tge only pizza I've ever eaten that was more flavorful cold the bext day. The nachos were... enough for a meal( or 2) Service was great. Read more
A wonderful spot for lunch! A cute little shop with great pizza drinks and even for some light shopping. Would definitely... recommend a visit to this lovely city and this pizza shop. The appetizer nachos was also really delicious just a great spicelevel! I also enjoyed the drink, great and refreshing with the pizza! When I’m in brown county, this place is a must. Read more
