This place has an Amazing chef. We had the butternut squash curry and the smoked brisket hash. Both absolutely fantastic with... the best flavors. The dishes are made from scratch. The service was great and our server, Ben, was top-notch, so friendly andaccommodating. Atmosphere was wonderful. Can?t recommend this place enough. We will definitely return again and again. I had a cheeseburger that had to be the best I've ever had! It tasted like it was grilled and was very juicy. The lettuce and... tomatoes on it were crisp and fresh and it was on a potato brioche bun. It was served with a generous amount of french fries.Highly recommend it!! Cloth napkins, fresh flowers, cool ice water with a lemon is a great start to a wonderful dinner. I enjoyed the Smoked Andouille... sausage with applewood sauerkraut. My wife had the Peach and Bourbon Salmon. Both were excellent. The restaurant is part of theBrown County Inn that is conveniently located near the busy downtown area of artisan Nashville, Indiana. On this visit, I tried something different from my usual fried chicken choice. I got the Mediterranean Plate. Hummus, falafel,... grilled squash, rice, crunchy chickpeas (which are so good, I could have eaten a bowlful!), and I added grilled chicken. Allvery good. We had a nice family dinner with our group of 9. We arrived sometime after 7 pm and only had a short 15 min wait (compared to... other venues) to be seated. We received fast, friendly service. My salid was fresh and the pot roast was tender and tastedgreat! Read more
