We went to the eatery at about 2 pm Saturday. We walked through the door and there was a couple in front of us. This is a very... small alcove you pass rhrough . Before we get into the restaurant, an older woman comes out and says"after this couple, we arefull. " what? So no food food for you??? No wait list, no explanation. Great place especially if you love IU... Friendly service. Service at first was really slow, but there were 4 of us and we... arrived right after a major lunch rush. The place only has 12 tables. We were seated right away, but took a few for waitress tocome take our drink orders. After that wait she was attentive. 3 of us got a burger and 1 got the breaded tenderloin. Ambiance is perfect for a ?chilly outside, warm rustic inside? feel. The ROLLS were excellent. Honestly, as good as the menu. I... ordered the chili fries and the Caesar side salad. Perhaps putting celery in the chili fries was a tad too ambitious, but therest of the meal, particularly the salad were good and hit the spot. Read more

Our waitress was polite and friendly. It did take quite a while to get our order taken and served. I had the enchiladas... Switzerland, which was good. It has a very mild green sauce. My wife had the breaded tenderloin, she said it was outstanding. I would agree it is a little expensive. Sandwich, fries, drink, and tip will cost around $15 per person. There are weekdayspecials and a kids menu which is much more reasonable. They certainly are Hoosier fans, but don't serve Big Red soda whichdisappointed my wife. Read more
The server snapped at many of the customers. Thankfully no one in my group but it made for a very tense eating environment. We... debated leaving before we got our drinks but hunger ruled that out. I'm not sure what the conflict was about but it definitelyaffected the atmosphere of the whole place. The food was good but some of the plastic glasses were cracked on the inside whichis a good place for bacteria to hide out. Read more
