Angelo?s pizza is by far the best I?ve had in some time! No doubt the best pizza in the Rocky Mount area! Angelo?s is a... traditional pizza shop, this means a couple of things? - this isn?t a dine in restaurant. You can dine it but it is small andset up more for take out orders or grab a slice and go. - it is cash only! These are not knocks against the shop, it is what itis! Now, for the pizza! The pizza is the freshest I?ve ever had! Every single ingredient was as fresh as it gets! I?ll admit,it wasn?t my favorite style of pizza, I prefer thin, crispy, and with a lot of char. Angelo?s pizza is a little more doughy thanmy liking but the dough was top notch! He also has very creative pizza specials. Really great pizza and service here. Check FB for their weekly special. Very worth the pleasant drive through the country to... this hidden spot. It is small and tidy, but the quality is way beyond what you get at normal pizza joints. Just had the Jerkpizza special and it was fantastic! We will be back! Read more
