Pork sandwiches very tasty. Sides: slaw & banana pudding, good. Bean salad & grit casserole, very good. I mixed the beans and... grits together ????????. Had a very good draught stout. We don't get out much so price is always a surprise. I didn't likethe pay before you're served concept especially pushing the tip at the same time. For what? Would go back but would not tipagain. Visiting Nashville for a few days, I was told by many that Edley?s is the place to go for BBQ. This location just opened up 3... weeks ago and for a new location they?ve got a good handle on their rush times. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful,Dixie was a delight to talk to. As a Texan born and raised, I?d like to say we know a few things about BBQ, Edley?s porksandwich did not disappoint one bit, the smokey meat, sweet bbq and coleslaw (vinegar based?q) just hit every tastebud inperfect harmony. The mac and cheese was cooked to perfection. Make sure to get the banana pudding!! If I?m ever back inNashville, Edley?s will always be on the itinerary. Read more
We ordered the brisket plate and bbq chicken plate. We had green beans, mac & cheese, and bbq beans for the sides. All the... food was tasty. We like the beef brisket best. My second beer tasted like the glass was still soapy. They replaced the beerright away and the shift manager comp'd both beers. The service was good and all the employees we interacted with were verypleasant. It was a really good dinner and dining experience. Read more
If you are looking for a good juicy brisket and good juicy smoked wings, this is not the right restaurant. A few weeks ago me... and my girlfriend went to the one located at 12 Avenue west end nashville. It was way better. The brisket was cold over cookedlooked almost like beef jerky. The wings were not seasoned Well and didn?t have a smoky flavor. The only two good things aboutthis place are burnt ends, and customer service. I wish I can give them a zero star. They probably deserve one star for goodcustomer service, and Burnt ends which is not enough for me to go back there and eat. Read more
Bad experiences The one at 12th Ave. Nashville is way better. the brisket was so dry and cold. I also ordered wings with... buffalo sauce they gave me a regular wings and I had to wait 56minutes to get my order. But they did cook us another meal forfree and gave us a refund the second meal was awful as well but I appreciate the good customer service. Well couldn't wait to try this Edley's love me a good brisket. My girl pickup lunch for me and her and I have to say was good .... Not spectacular. We got the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Portion size for price was an issue. I could get a really nicesize sliced brisket at Buckeys for half the price of edleys. Sorry to say that but it's true. And I found the flavor better withthem as well . Brisket was moist and very good but it just lacked that wow factor. Then the three spoon serving of the Mac andcheese and coleslaw. Mac was good not a fan of slaw . Over all the decor was great really busy place . Good overall but size ofmeal not $16 dollar meal. Read more
For a place that opened for business less than two weeks ago they are doing a great job. Food was awesome. Burnt ends on cheese... grits, half rack of ribs, excellent sides. This will be another one of our favorite places. Read more
Another great meal at Edley's! First time at the Donelson location. Party of four. We had pulled pork sandwiches, side of Mac &... cheese and potato salad, brisket tacos again as this time I tried the Brisket Nachos...house made chips yall!
