Rarely do I hand out a perfect review. Hattie B?s easily makes it to the 5 star club. Came from Utah to try this chicken, and... was beyond impressed. Chicken was moist and tender (thank you for using thighs), and mixed with the slaw, pickles, and saucemade a perfect sandwich. It?s not just the chicken though, the sides were what made a 4 star sandwich into a 5 star review. Oiltemp for fries was perfect, not a single soggy one and fluffy on the inside. Potato salad was shockingly creamy, Mac was smooth,baked beans were smoky. Price is fair. Unreal meal, would consider moving to Nash for this place. Don?t miss it. Read more

We stopped at Hattie B's on our way to NC & I'm so glad we did! I've been wanting to try it for years & finally got the... opportunity. All of the employees we encountered were helpful, kind & efficient. Despite the restaurant being busy we receivedour food quickly. It was fresh & so full of flavor! I got the tenders with a side of greens & french fries. We also got an orderof Fried Pickles to share & YUM!! The chicken was soooo juicy!! I got the HOT which was delicious but if you're used to spice Iwould go a step up. The greens were very flavorful & the fries were seasoned to perfection & crispy! If you've never been beforeof make sure to try the Come Back Sauce. The portions & prices are great as well! The thing that made our experience even morememorable was our server J or Jay? Not sure. Maybe he was the manager? He was so attentive and made sure we had everything weneeded. He was funny & even tried the HOTTEST sauce with my little brother so he wouldn't have to do it alone! The chicken was YUMS! Not oily like hot chicken take over in Ohio. Fried just right and moist inside! The staff were super nice... and they kept the place super clean! It was busy when we went on a Sunday but it was worth the wait. We went to two differentHattie B?s Chicken locations before finding this one. This one had better parking than the first two downtown. Definitely a more ?commercial? chicken shack compared to the more authentic places around Nashville like Bolton?s or... Granddaddy?s? but it?s a lot more put together and inviting, and the heat is quite mild. Hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had! Drove all the way from Arizona to get a chance to try this stuff and I was very... impressed! Got the hot half chicken and it was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of heat! Also got the Mac ncheese & grits as a side. Phenomenal! Peach cobbler for dessert was perfect. The star of the show is the chicken. It is honestly fantastic. I even went in 2 days later because it was so dang good. I got... the mild and the medium. Where this place looses a star are the sides. The only side that was solid to me was the potato salad,and that was just okay. The Mac and cheese, collards, and baked beans would all have been better replaced with something else. Read more

We visited this restaurant on a Friday night and it was packed.. Take that back jam packed !! The line did move fairly well. The... gentleman that took my order was absolutely wonderful he had a great personality and made ordering extremely easy and was veryhelpful. This chicken to me is not that great. 1st of all, the chicken wings are huge. I am not a fan of big chicken wings Thechicken was just hot and spicy.. I prefer my chicken( the actual meat) to be seasoned , not just have Spicy batter. The greenswas probably the best thing I ordered.. The Mac and cheese was cheese was too spicy and the peach cobbler had too much hard Crust in my starving. This is not my cup of tea, and I definitely will not be going back. We finally stopped in for lunch to try their ?hot chicken.? My husband ordered a 2 piece hot dark meat plate. The chicken was a... little wetter on the outside a a little dry on the inside. I ordered the large chicken tenders in medium. Those were not wet onthe inside and very moist on the inside. The coleslaw was definitely creamy and their fries were crispy. When we arrived therewas a line inside but plenty of open tables. The service was great, fast and we got our food hot and quick.
