Stopped by to grab a drink. Service was lackadaisical. Ordered an old fashioned from the happy hour menu. Drink arrived with... more crushed ice than liquid, no muddled cherries or crushed sugar, just premade syrup added to some bourbon. Maybe they feelthe $10 happy hour version doesn't deserve cherries, sugar or a single large cube of ice? Too many great bars in town to settlefor this one. Read more
Food was Amazing, we sat on the Patio which was really nice. Good view of Hotel and next to hotel entrance so not so noisy. Food... and drinks were fast to come out service was great. Braised Brisket was amazing!!!! Read more
Over a month late but here it is. I wish Henley was closer to me as we were away for business trip here. Henley was outstanding.... The high ceilings and decor were blissful and our server was perfect. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and a greetingcard awaited us at our table. Thank you! Although it was not on the menu, they made me one of my favorite drinks the Aviation,perfectly. We had the truffle crispy chicken wings, bib salad, and other things I cannot remember now, but I said this when Itasted the wings, "we should put in another order". I could have just had the wings and been haply because they were so good.This restaurant is in a Kimpton hotel and matches the feel of curated design. I had a wonderful time at Henley's; I went here to celebrate my 22nd birthday and it was the best experience! From the moment I... walked in to when I left, I felt so special! Several of the staff members wished me a happy birthday throughout the night andthe chef let me pick out a dessert and said it was on the house. Our waitress was so helpful and patient in answering all of ourquestions! The head bartender even came over to personally explain what the specialty cocktails were and what he thought we'dlike. The drinks were so good and so was the food. But most of all the service was amazing. Everyone was so kind, and when I didn’t... like my second drink they offered to make me something else, for no extra charge. I didn’t even ask, she just noticed Ihadn’t been drinking it. We... got the country fried Brie, the everything rolls, the scallops + grits entree, the crispy pork belly entree, and the chocolatesoufflé. In my 34 years of life this was honestly the worst Thanksgiving meal I've had. Besides the price being astronomically high for... the quality of food received, the ambience and service were just as bad. The food which was served buffet style tasted bland anda couple of hours later I can honestly say has made me sick. And I only ate half a plate! The soda (which I would normally nevereven comment on but since they charged 4 dollars for it I feel compelled to) was completely flat. The ambience was dark, tight,and hot. The server didn't inform us where the buffet was and never removed my half eaten plate away. And last but not least theprice. $200+ dollars for 2 adults and a child. Normally I could justify spending that much (especially on a holiday) if the foodwas half decent. But I can't help but feel that I was robbed. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.
