On our way home and we found this little spot right outs ide Nashville headed back to STL. Reviews looked good so we stopped in.... Lots of awards walking in the door. Love to see that. You know your in a place where craftsmanship can be expected to be topnotch. Ordered the brisket and two sides for a good price in this day and age. Hige servings of Mac N Cheese and Apples. Wifeordered the pork shoulder. Corn bread or toast are options. Cornbread please and thank you. 6 or 7 different sauces that allwere pretty good. Meat was really good. Glad we stopped in and if you are traveling and need a quick stretch with some reallygood food. It's just north of Nashville and 5 minutes off. You can be in and out 20 mins with kids. Great food....however....all the staff... needs to be either fired or go through some job edict training in the food business. I... have not been to a restaurant establishment that all of their workers seemed to hate their jobs. Don't act like it's hard workto give me what I wanted for sides. If you want a fine example of Tennessee style Ribs and Texas style brisket with some delicious pulled pork and sides like baked... beans and stewed apples served with some Texas Toast this is the place for you! They use a Bewley wood fired smoker and cook lowand slow... Multiple sauces to try as well. The Brisket was tender and moist and had great bark! The ribs looked great and werethe perfect fall off the bone tender that don't fall apart but are super tender and have the smoke ring... Service was great andatmosphere pleasant! Read more
Omg! The brisket is so tender and yummy. I also had the St. Louis ribs. They were pretty good too. It's one of my favorite... places. I hate coleslaw but theirs is the ONLY ONE I WILL EAT. Read more
Upon walking into the place the smokey aroma filled the room. A line of people from the lunch crowd moved quickly, which gave... me just enough time to look at the menu. Menu offered pork, beef brisket, smoked turkey & chicken as well as sausage. Manysides to choose from. The brisket sandwich I had was customized with brown gravy and hot sauce accompanied with a side ofbaked beans. The iced tea was brewed and good. Overall the food was great.
