First off, this restaurant has been newly opened in the West End area only since October 2022. So any review prior is not of... this specific restaurant but of the old restaurant that used to be in Franklin. It'd have been better in my opinion to create anew Business page but that's not what this Management decided to do. I've dined here twice. Once at their lunch buffet whenthey had just newly opened up, and once for dinner. Pics of buffet/restaurant during lunch buffet when newly opened in Octoberwhereas the food pics are from Nov 7th dinner. Lunch Buffet is a good deal for $13. You get a variety of North Indian and SouthIndian foods (ie Idli, sambhar etc) that no other Indian restaurant in Nashville offers currently. They also offer Masala Chaicomplimentary which is very authentic and only 2 other restaurants offered that. (Amravati in Brentwood, no longer offers alunch buffet and Persis in Franklin, still does thankfully. Even Bombay Palace down the street never has offered MasalaChai) As for my dinner, I found the Chettinad Chicken a little too sweet which is not how the dish is supposed to be prepared.I was informed that the backup chef was on duty and therefore may have made it differently. The Methi Chicken was good but theChicken Biryani definitely stole the limelight! It was absolutely aromatic and superb! The Butter Naan was very moist andperfect. My personal favorite, Chicken Vindaloo as spicy as possible!!! I ate here many times when at Cool Springs and I can tell you the... food is still amazing! The Veg Samosas were crispy, light and fresh as well. There are choices when it comes to foods from SouthIndia, you win here! Lots of flavor and spice to burn your hair(if you ask lol!) Great service by Avinash .he was friendly and smiling and had a very nice vibe around him The food here is nice . We got the taj... mahal beer along with some appetizers, biryani and bhelpuri . The chicken chilli , tandoori platter and the spicy chicken allwere juicy and delicious. All of it was really good and i will recommend this place for authentic indian food Read more
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Franklin area. Well maintained and the staff was courteous. Food was good in... texture and taste. Gobi Manchurian is a must try. Non veg starters also tasted good. Had a good dining experience. Read more

This review is not a review about food but about management. I am writing here as I dine in on 16th January 2022 at 6:32 PM. We... ordered 2 tea , one samosa and one plain dosa. Now for main course we asked for time t order food as the menu is vast and takestime to look into. My wife was ready and had questions about a few biriyani available. She was not finished asking and thewaiter was already running away. She had to ask him to stop and say ?I have a few more questions ?. Brace yourself , worst isyet to come. Next she told her order of a veg biriyani. I was not ready to order yet , the waiter said ?ok then order together ,the chef wants all orders together?. I mean , she is hungry and needs her order. He is a chef not a king whom I need to please.That 1 star is not for food, I feel food is fine. But you don?t say that to your customer , EVER. We ordered Half plate Biryani (Goat Biryani) .. they are nice, location is great, on time! 10% Discount.. awesome!!! Biryani is... supposed to be 1:1 ratio of Rice and mutton.
