This is worth a long drive. My first time trying Uzbek cuisine, and the numerous 5 star reviews are accurate: it’s phenomenal.... The restaurant is immaculately clean, orderly, and pleasant. The server was kind and helped me select dishes, since I wasunfamiliar with the menu. I had the Lagman soup, and it was incredibly good. A gentleman who I presume is the owner came overwith a small decanter of vinegar and some chili paste, and showed me how to mix them in the broth to make it “very verygood”. He was right. I’m a small guy and get full very quickly, and this was twice as much as I normally eat. Despitefeeling extremely full, I couldn’t help myself and ordered a lamb shashlik (skewer) because I just didn’t want to stopeating this food. Sadly, I had to call it quits after that, but I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. This is reallya 6 star review. It’s just that good. Read more
Just had an amazing meal at Osh! The interior is classy and clean. The food was so good! First time having Uzbeki food, but... I’m middle eastern and the palate was familIar yet still different enough to be fun. Highly recommend the Jiz Biz or Osh(signature entree). Parking isn’t great in that area, but the restaurant itself wasn’t too busy so service was fast andpleasant. Will be coming back! Read more
The free appetizer of bread and cream cheese was amazing! They give it to you while you order. As I was waiting on my food, the... owner came to me and asked me how I liked the appetizer. He's a nice guy and that was impressive that he would do that! All therest of the food was delicious. I got my lamb chops and was surprised to only have 5 for 26 dollars. I was amazed to noticemyself having to struggle to eat the last two, because I was getting full. I like how the bones were wrapped in aluminum foil,so your fingers will stay clean while eating them. After showing property Robert N. Hoff and I stopped in at OSH Restaurant & Grill for lunch. I had lamb kebabs and Robert has... Shrimp Jiz-Biz. We also had lamb Manti (dumplings). We had baklava for dessert. The food was delicious Uzbekistan food. ????. Read more
I decided to bring my friend to this lovely place tonight because I've wanted to try it for a while. I'm so glad we came! It's... tucked into a strip mall with places like Papa Johns, but don't let that fool you. It's a nice place to have a meal. Theemployees were all very kind and attentive. The server we had was excellent. The food was delicious and plentiful and veryinteresting (okay, I've never had the cuisine of Uzbekistan, okay?). They brought out some pita with this thick yogurt type dipto start, and it was delicious. The pita was perfectly toasted. We started with the appetizer sampler and the pickle sampler. Itseemed like a good place to start! All 3 of the dips were great and came with the same perfectly crisp pita. The pickle platewas a wonderful very fresh variety of pickled vegetables. We ordered some Uzbeki bread to share. It was like a bagel exteriorand a more fluffy, soft interior. I had the Gampan as my meal, and she ordered the Shrimp Jiz-Biz. Both were great, though fordifferent reasons. The shrimp dish was more spicy (without being too hot) and the Gampan was more spiced. We also ordered thekunefe to try as dessert, which was so deliciously both crispy and creamy. Not overly sweet but definitely sweet enough. Myreceipt is pictured here, so you'll see that the price is very good, especially considering how many leftovers I brought homeplus how full I am. You should definitely try them out! Read more
Finally got to try OSH after hearing all a bout it! The food was delicious! My favorites was the mixed grill sample platter so... you can try everything. My friends ordered shrimps and trout and OSH which were all excellent. I would recommend the sampleplatter if your torn or want to try a little bit of everything.
