I can?t rave enough about this place! I visited Nashville from Charlotte, and although I did enjoy the main strip of Broadway?.I... was ready to get to a more mature scene and crowd from all the hooping and hollering that Broadway crowds bring. Would give 10 stars if I could. Went to the 11pm show yesterday, and loved it so much I immediately came back to the 11pm show... tonight. Both shows were some of the best music I've ever heard; and I'm lucky enough to have heard a lot. Compared to lots ofother music venues in Nashville, the sound guys here don't blast out their speakers- it's a great level of sound to hear themusic but also hear your own voice and chill a while haha. Just what I was hoping to find in Music City. Great vibe inside,super friendly staff. And on food- I ordered the crawdad grilled cheese and fries; and the popcorn shrimp. Both were so GOOD.And pretty cheap! Best joint in Nashville. Made my day twice in a row. Read more
Go here! And then go again. I love good jazz. I hate wack jazz. I went during their jam session. There's a house band and folks... can come and sing or play with them. The house band was great and the folks who joined the band for few songs were great. Jazzjam sessions are great because it's the essence of jazz. The service was good. The hostess was welcoming. The location isintimate and there are no bad seats. $10 bucks to get in and drinks were about $14 bucks. You can pay extra for a sofa seat ifyou want to be closer. Although they have food on the menu, I didn't not eat much. I had the fried pickles and they were good.Nashville is all about good live music and if you like live music then this place is a must. We had a great time here. We came for a semi-open mic session on a Sunday night during a holiday weekend. We bought tickets at... the door. Artists signed up to play and the house band coordinated who would perform for each song. If you want to play, Irecommend coming early to make sure you get to play, especially if you?re a drummer or singer. We got to see a lot of verytalented musicians and it was fun watching people play with each other for the first time and make great music. This was themost talented bunch of musicians we saw all weekend. If I ever come back to Nashville, I?ll definitely come again. Read more
Awesome music on a near nightly basis. Multiple bands per night each band performing for a wonderful price. They have a large... drink selection to choose from including a large choice of expensive top-shelf options. Accompanied along with a decent kitchenmenu with some top of the line gumbo. Read more
Amazing little Jazz club in downtown Nashville. It?s tucked in a hidden area so you wouldn?t just come across it by accident.... Two showings a night so you should definitely plan and understand the timing of shows from their website. No assigned seating,the hostess will let you chose - but there?s everything from couches to plush chairs to high tops and the bar. Craft cocktailsand a small dinner menu. The vibe is nostalgic so I definitely recommend stopping here if you are visiting Nashville or love ajazz music. Read more
Had an amazing experience at Rudy's Jazz room. Loved the ambience of this place very much! My husband and I were there to listen... to the Gypsy Hombres while visiting Nashville, and the band was great! Also had dinner at this place, and the food and cocktailswere very delicious, the service was top notch. Highly recommend this place and would like to visit again when I'm in Nashville. Read more
This place is a gem. Great music in a tiny jazz club. Cool bar. Great drinks. Food is decent also. I had a pecan pie with my... Manhattan and it was delicious. You need to buy tickets online ahead of time or you won?t get in. The best seats are at the baror the 4 person couch. This is such a welcome alternative to the chaos on Broadway. Note it isn?t the safest area so Uber rightto the front door. Read more
