Food was delicious but?.they weren?t Bao Buns. They were pretty big dumplings. Bao Buns are soft white bread with... stuffings. These were huge dumplings filled with meat. I liked them but?. Food is great, service is excellent and the placeis bright with tons of seating. Here?s the breakdown: Great food +1 star; bright and clean +1 star; excellent service +1 star;fresh and flavorful ingredients +1 star. Yummm. This place is great! My picky 11 y/o daughter loved it too! So much that we came for dinner twice here. We tried a... variety of items and the drinks were delish too, especially the rose milk tea! You go in and order at the desk. We ate there thefirst night and got it to go the second night. So happy to have an authentic, Chinese-inspired food place in town. The taste of the baos and beef shank noodle soup are... fragrant and authentic tasting. The staff are friendly and happy at work. Great customer service. There are a lot of bubble teachoices and thankful bubble tea has finally arrived nearby in this area !! The only thing about the savory foods is it is verysalty. The flavor is good but with so much salt it is hard to enjoy. If they could cut it down by even 25%, preferably 50-75%, we could appreciate the flavor better. Read more
Overstaffed, food was okay. We visited during Friday (Christmas eve) lunch time. They don?t have a menu board,; the menu is... printed on the 5?x6? (or 6?x8?) size cards - nice design, but a little bit too small to cram all the items on it. Orderingprocess at the cashier counter was straightforward (you can add an optional tip when ordering). They have a decent size diningarea. As for the food; beef noodle soup was good, but only 4 pieces of beef were a little fewer than expected (although theywere decent sized pieces). For both steamed and seared baos, the sizes were smaller than expected (relative to/considering theprice paid). Although they tasted good (standard flavor/filling), the meaty ball filling size was on the small end (compared tothe size of the bao). It?s probably because after cooking from raw inside the bao it shrinks, but this should be considered whenmaking it so a larger meaty ball could be placed in it before wrapping it up. Also, the roughly chopped cilantro used forgarnishing the seared bao was wilted; it probably didn?t get stored properly after being chopped up. We saw around 5 employeesthere and most of the time they were just sitting at the dining room table eating or on their phones. They were not just sittingat a corner table, they were occupying one of the main large dining tables in front of the ordering counter. That looked strangeto us and we were surprised the manager/owner allowed this. They should staff the appropriate numbers of employees only soeither the store can make more profit or they can have room to reduce the menu item prices to be more competitive (we thinkthings are priced slightly too high based on the food and service received). Dining room could also use some improvement oncleaning as the table we sat at was not very clean. Tables were probably not being wiped in between uses. I had never been here before and chose the beef noodle soup. The broth was the best beef broth I?ve ever had and the beef was... very tender! The small size was huge and I ended up taking it home as leftovers. I will be back!! Read more
This place is wonderful! The aesthetics are great (a mural; light fixtures, etc.), the music taste of the crew is phenomenal (if... you like K-Pop then you?ll have a blast singing along to some of your favorites), and most importantly, the food isDELICIOUS! My only complaint is that you cannot make special requests or adjustments on the dumplings and bao, so if you haveallergies, be sure to read the ingredients on the menu. I?d highly recommend! Holy shitaki this place is good. I got the spicy dumpling bowl and beef seared buns. It was delicious and spicy. Prices are... decent too. I did take out but the restaurant environment seemed very chill. I'll definitely be back. Pro tip: get the vinegarfor dipping. Read more
