Unfortunately this place missed the mark for our lunch date. It’s extremely dark inside with no outside seating. There’s a... formal dining area and a bar area which has slightly better lighting. I ordered the South Side of Italy and it was extremelystrong with lack of flavor. My partner ordered the Slow & Low Mojito which tasted like simply soda water and mint. I had an excellent evening at The Palm last night! It's started with great service at valet parking. They asked whether or not... I'd be staying after dinner for an event downtown. I thought that was a thoughtful because I was and they confirmed stayingparked with them would be easy. I didn't even have to ask. The hostess was welcoming and I sat at my table straight away. Theatmosphere was relaxing but lively. I really enjoyed the music, decor and lighting. I had a pre dinner cocktail while waitingfor my friends to arrived. Our party decided to try the seafood tower. The Palm graciously accommodate a customized request tohave some elements of the tower served warm. The service staff was very attentive and kind. I really liked my experience. The shrimp Bruno was a wonderful starter and recommended by our waitress. The signature Bruno sauce is an aioli and the shrimp... are large and very filling. The steakhouse wedge salad was crisp and made with a generous portion of blue cheese and walnuts.The Chilean sea bass was Italian herb-crusted and served with fava beans, English peas and pea tendrils. It was DELICIOUS. TheSicilian salmon was prepared by wrapping the Ora King Salmon filet in cedar paper. It was served with a classic chimichurri,roasted artichokes, and the creamiest lobster risotto we've ever had. We will definitely go back again. My friend and I were in Nashville for work and wanted to try a nice steakhouse. I will say, the shrimp sauté was very good! I... also ordered lobster gnocchi which was extremely disappointing. It had literally no lobster, maybe a piece the size of mythumbnail in the entire plate. Didn’t even have a creamy sauce and was pretty dry. My friend ordered a steak and mashedpotatoes which was good, but could have gotten just as good somewhere much less expensive (Texas Roadhouse, Outback). We loved our experience at the palm! I had the veal chop and my wife had this clam linguini.Now when I say AMAZING, I mean... AMAZING!!! Who ever the chefs were on valentines night, you need to be thanked lol. OH and the starter The Shrimp Bruno isFANTASTIC. This is an excellent choice for a date night and just in general. Came here for Valentine’s Day and it was the worst experience my mother and I have ever had. The waitress Brittney was... inconsistent and rude during the service. She didn’t even bring our dessert out to us, she just boxed it up and gave us ourcheck before we were even ready to leave. We were there for maybe an hour. The food was BLAND, not even a hint of salt or saucein the Bolognese. The mashed potatoes were dry, lacked garlic and had a stick of rosemary on top as a garnish. The plate wasserved completely filthy and the Cesar salad……I made a remark to my mother about what it looked like but let’s say thatdressing looked suspicious…… I do not recommend. It’s a chain restaurant with chain customer service. Food is NOT worththe money. I’m sticking to my favorite restaurant 5th and Taylor from now on. Read more
Hands down, one of the best places I have ever attended !! Our waiter, Bryan, was so charismatic and kind. He gave his honest... opinions and suggestions on food. He congratulated us on our celebration ! We had delicious drinks. Mine was off the menu, apomegranate cocktail per Bryan's recommendation and it was fantastic. We had lobster, new to me, fried; it's super yummy. Threecheese potatoes and creamed spinach were also delicious. Definitely coming back !!! Highly recommend Bryan ! I expected more from a $$$$ restaurant. Steak and fish were ok but at that price they should amazing. They are below the top... steak house restaurant. They served the steak not hot. I had to return it to reheat it. Read more
