What I liked: the atmosphere, the view sitting outside, plenty of vegan options, professional food plating, and the flavorful... cauliflower appetizer. What I didn't like: 1. Korean steak and pizza we ordered came out lukewarm, which made them taste not asgood as they should be, and also made me doubt their freshness. I tried to eat faster hoping the last bite would still be warm, which unfortunately did not happen. One of us decided to take their food home so we could warm it up a little bit later. Eitherway, it was not what I expected from True Food Kitchen. 2. From my past experience of being a professional chef, Bok Choy wasovercooked and the steak was underseasoned in the Korean steak. 3. Heat was far away from our seat, making it a very chillingdining experience after sunset. 4. The service was ok but nothing impressive. If people don’t feel being taken good care of inyour restaurant, why don’t they just eat at home or order takeout (it’s even easier if it need to be reheated, right)? Final verdict: Ingredients are undoubtedly optimal, but there is still a long way to go to create a truly great diningexperience. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick lunch or takeout, but there are better places for dinner. Read more

I've been here before, so I'm surprised I haven't reviewed True Food Kitchen yet! Either way, I was so happy to have visited the... other day. We'd just come from my best friend's white coat ceremony, and it was the perfect place to eat afterwards. There arelots of vegan items on the menu, and you can make lots of modifications and substitutions, too! I got the Ancient Grains Bowl, and I enjoyed it very much. I think it was a little oily, but the flavors were what I expected. I also got the Sparkling PricklyPear Tisane, which was so light and refreshing. My best friend, who's dairy/gluten free, got the Spaghetti Squash Casserole withvegan cheese substituted. Her dad even bought us some of the vegan chocolate chip cookies for dessert, which were definitely themost delicious cookies I've had in some time. I could talk about those for days. To top it all off, I had an oatmilk latte, which was great. Overall, I had a great experience here. The servers were very friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphereis so pleasant. I hope to be back again soon! Read more

So good every time I come here! It's a dangerous place to go since so many things here are gluten-free, including all the... desserts. They take your allergies seriously here and will accommodate any nutritional need. Cocktails are a nice added bonus tothe other drink selections which don't include your typical sodas. Read more

Excellent food, excellent service, and just overall a really cool restaurant. If you looked at my various other reviews my top... priority clearly has not been eating “clean” or “healthy” food, but rather just good food. However, True Food is a placethat makes me want to explore some of those healthier options out there. The grass fed burger was delicious. The appetizers wereso unique and also very tasty, and just about everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked appealing. True Foods seasonalmenu was a really cool feature that I want to come back and try out sometime. 10/10 recommend for people that are more healthconscious about their food, and I definitely urge people who are not to at least give it a try. True food is definitely a littleNashville Gem. Read more
