Lunch buffet is so much fun, and tasty (pic), but if you go in for dinner and order off the menu- even better! Highly recommend... both! Different experiences, but both great! Read more

Excellent Indian! They took me at my word when I asked for extra spicy too. I had the medu vadam and thoroughly enjoyed the... coconut chutney that accompanied it. The garlic naan was on the crispy side but delicious. The saag paneer was a refreshingcombination of firm paneer and spinach! Read more

This place is not even close to how much we used to enjoy back in 2011 when studying at Vanderbilt. I heard the management... changed since. For instance, Woodlands is a symbolic meaning/ hailing from Udupi, Karnataka, and I would try and focus on theniche of South Indian food when there is already a huge market. There's no need for other North Indian food when several folksare putting the same foods out there. Secondly, the service and hospitality are not even close. South Indians are known fortheir distinct hospitality and service. As the adage goes, 'Your guest is like a God.' Business like the churning of dishes, placement without human touch or smile is what I can remember of it now. Thirdly, hailing from the coastal belt of Mangalore, Ican say the food is just about mediocre and not close to the typical mesmerizing South Indian flavors. Clearly, the addition ofother North Indian or Indian- Chinese dishes took away from what was left. Lastly, the price is steep. This place, by allmeans, is a gem for a vegetarian frenzy like me but tantalizing your taste buds with the authentic South Indian aroma ortaste– that I'm not so sure about. All in all, nothing to reminisce. Read more

Delicious food and great service. Went there for lunch and there was a buffet. I went with my dad who had thought he didn't like... Indian food but changed his mind after we went here. I went back for supper to get takeout for me and my husband. I got springrolls, Gobi Manchurian, Saag paneer, garlic naan and mango lassi for takeout. I was eating some of the spring rolls while I waswaiting for my Uber, and the nice man there offered me a plate. Would come again next time I'm in Nashville. Read more

I am Nashville local guide status on the Google and my previous reviews are 70% positive about restaurants and places. All... these 4+ star reviews are for the previous management and staff. Under new management they have worst service and extremelyrude staff. They are not qualified to be in service/Restaurant industry. When they run out of the food they change the food menuand replaced with the plain potatoes and curries with water. They Start adding water into all the gravy based curry to make itmore quantity. We went around 1:30Pm and we waited for 45 minutes for them to refill the buffet. They started replacing items inthe buffet menu with whatever leftover they had in the kitchen. Dum aloo replaced with plain boiled aloo sabzi with no masala, gobi manchurian with no manchurian in it, shahi paneer had no paneer in it. When I asked the waiter what’s happening he saidthis is how they operate. The guy on the counter kept talking without listening to their customers complains. When we orderedfrom the menu this is what came out(see the pic) the dosa filled with so many green chilis. It was impossible to eat this chilifilled dosa. Please save your health, money and respect by avoiding this place. Read more

If you love spices and flavors you will love this place. Food: Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Soup and masala were nice and... hot (temp) so many flavors hitting my palette with every spoonful it was difficult to name them. The rice was cooked perfectlytoo. Grains were not sticking together or too mushy or hard. The food presentation was nice and simple. I ordered my masalaspicy level hot (Mild, hot, hotter), which was the perfect level of spiciness. If I would have got it hotter I don't think Iwould have enjoyed it as much. Service: Staff was friendly and attentive. When I asked questions about menu items he took timeto answer. Checked on me a couple of time and refilled my drink without me having to ask. Dining Area: not a huge place but itcan definitely accommodate large gatherings. The decor was nice and tasteful. Dining area was clean. GPS the location, it can beeasy to miss from a moving vehicle. Plenty of parking however,I had a little trouble getting into the parking area crossingagainst traffic. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Read more
