Nice restaurant in downtown Natick! My husband loved the scallops but for $32 there were only 4. I ordered the chicken which was... tasty but the fried green tomatoes tasted plain. Otherwise, the cocktail was good and the service was great. We enjoyed ourdinner. It’s just a bit pricey for what you get. Read more
Just moved here from Nashville, this place is a must!! Their own take on Southern cooking and it was delicious. My wife had the... halibut and she really enjoyed it. I had the fried chicken and fried green tomatoes it was also really good. Of course weordered the fried pickles, oysters, tomato and burratta stack and cornbread to start lol we're foodies. Portions are small onthe apps but that's good because I would have easily filled up with what we ordered but the portions are a good amount for justtwo people to share. Read more
Decent place - very good service. The food is fresh and tasty but lacks real flair.corn bread tasted ok but seemed like it had... other flour in it. Beet salad’s beet was not tasty…short rib was good and fish tacos were average. Buttermilk chicken wasgood. The fruit crisp was good and brownie was ok. The cocktails were not bad. Read more
I simply can’t say enough good things about Buttercup! The staff, food, and drinks are all EXCELLENT! I give Buttercup 3 stars for the service, vibe and aesthetics but I wish I could be as enthusiastic about the food and drinks.... The prime beef short ribs with pappardale pasta was cooked well but definitely lacked seasonings and flavor. Oyster mignonettesauce was watery/flat. The drinks were strong but not great. And both their brownie and bread pudding desserts were served roomtemp, dry and hard. Would’ve been nice if they were warmed. Sad to say, I don’t think I’d be going back. Read more

We hosted our baby’s first birthday at Buttercup and loved it! The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The staff is... amazing, so friendly, great service. Prices are reasonable and drinks/food were all great. I would love to host here again, orjust go in for a meal. Read more
