We always visit this place when in SD because the food here doesn?t upsets our stomachs, the food is good and you can shop after... you ate, all in one place. Garlic fried rice is always good. Lechon kawali (deep fried pork belly) is crispy, lumpiang Shanghaiis ok; it?s crispy, needs more flavor. Tosilog: To is for Tocino (cured pork-a little sweet), Si is for sinangag (fried rice),Log is for itlog (eggs). Food items we tried before; Pinakbet; sautéed mixed vegetables with shrimp paste & pork, Bihon guisado(stir fried glass noodles), inihaw na pampano (grilled fish), beef Kaldereta; they were all good. For snacks we got, cassavacake-always good not too sweet, Biko (sweetened sticky rice) is good. Hopias taste ok, needs more flavor to the filling.Pandesal is ok. Had better pandesal back home but I will settle to their pandesal since home is toooooo far. We also got peanutswith garlic and pan de leche (Sweet bread rolls)-will update this review once I tried them. Good service and will come backagain if we?re in SD. Read more

I don?t know what happened today. They used to have scrumptious sisig and pork lumpia. Now I don?t understand. I ordered from... doordash for pick up and when we came home. I got some rice and ready to eat with sisig from Goldilocks. The first spoonful waslike? whaat! It wasn?t the same as years ago when we were dining in. The pork was bland. Probably they didn?t boil it with saltand seasoning. And it wasn?t soft either. It was hard to chew. Why? They don?t put their heart into cooking, I must say. Theywere probably in a hurry to cook the sisig because in the restaurant itself was very busy when I got there for pick up. I?m notgoing to order their sisig anymore. And their lumpia wasn?t brown enough. They used to have good sisig. I?m sad. It?s not thesame anymore. Please don?t be in a hurry to cook the food. I was not satisfied for what I paid :( This is my take outreview. Read more

Parking: Struggle for parking at 11am on a weekday. Had to park far and walked over Ambience: Fast pace bakery on one side and... casual dine in on other. Service: Nice and welcoming service. Food: We ordered a lot of the traditional dishes where most placesserve the same but wanted to compare. Overall: Came there for some bakery items but ended up dining in for real food. Good foodbut I?ve definitely had better elsewhere. Read more

The service when ordering from this Bakery/restaurant was not the best and the people were not friendly whatsoever. I ordered a... mocha roll slice and I could taste the butter in the frosting and the mocha flavoring was very light. I do say the sponge cakewas good but I won't be coming there any time soon. Woo-hoo! My best Holiday treat from Goldilocks! Fried adobo rice topped with lechon, chopped ripe mango, tomatoes and sunny side... up egg to go with the best cucumber salad. Others from Seafood City and Liza's kitchenette. Sooo great Filipino Holiday Fiesta.I would like to add my favorite from Goldilocks on other weekends the "pinangat pampano" which I am addicted to. I get myselfthis every 3 weeks. Also try their very good "Sisig" meals and grilled calamari. That's what I often gift Non Filipino friendsfor them to try. Read more

Haven't been here a while and was craving Filipino food so tried it out again. Ordered the sizzling pork sisig and pancit... palabok. The pancit palabok is good, better than grill city and Red Ribbon in my opinion. The sisig was ok, didn't have anyvinegar in it so I'd rate it average. If you're craving pancit palobok, give this place a try. Read more

Great authentic Filipino food taste. The servings are family size and meant to be shared. There's a bakery on site that serves... Filipino desserts. If you are looking for ube(purple yam) pastries, this is the place for you. It's a little pricier but you getwhat you pay for in quality and cleanliness. Read more
