Great place for delicious Mexican fare. Love it! I was thinking of a Wendy's "Hot and greasy" burger for breakfast (what was I... thinking?!?) but, as I neared the turn, this white boy had an epiphany and continued to El Trompo for a carne asada burrito. What a great choice! Fresh, hand made tortillas, carne cooked the way it should be and fresh salsa to spice things up. Meencanta El Trompo (y mi esposa tambien! Y Ella es una cocinera especial!). I LIKED THE TASTE OF THE TACOS. Asada , Adobada and fish . It’s a 2-3 bite size taco not too big but I assume it’s fair for... $1.25. The only thing I would maybe ask for the owner is to either train cooks to make the tacos look exactly like the way theare marketing the tacos on social media. Food is great, but on the other hand the service is a whole different story ! I arrived at 8:30pm knowing they close at 9pm. My... mom asked where the menu was because she couldn’t find it (TV screens with menu were already off.) The lady (with the purplehair) working there clearly heard and simply ignored us. Finally, the lady proceeded to take our order with a snarky attitudeand insisted that they close at 8:30 (we know that this is false because new customers continued showing up and she wasattending them.) i understand if it’s the end of the day and your tired but no need to have a bad attitude or lie about whattime the restaurant closes.
