Location, location, location! This restaurant is situated right on the Delaware river and has many beautiful views with both... indoor and outdoor seating. Watch the planes go by at eye level as they descend toward the Philadelphia airport. There are largerooms for events and multiple bars making it a great place for events. The food is good but not what you would expect for theprice. Overall great place to go for an event, small gathering, or a nice place to go eat for the view. Read more
Fantastic views! Extensive menu. Great options. Upscale ambience! The Event Planners, Amanda & Edith, went above & beyond to... make our event everything we anticipated! From small details to intermittent follow-ups leading up to day of our event, theymade sure everything was perfect! Extended Thanks to Melissa & each staff member who served at the event. Had a lovely dinner with my partner. Fancy place, dress up nice. Great views of the river from our table. Live music... entertainment included covers of Frank Sinatra and Elvis. The drinks were well made, large, and strong. The menu might not bethe best for picky eaters, but I found something great to eat! Read more
Hosted a retirement celebration luncheon for 29 persons in the River View Patio @ Riverwinds Restaurant. We live out of town and... have never been to the restaurant prior to our event. We placed our trust in Amanda & Shauna who were a dynamic duo to help planour event from start to finish from selecting the best space (they have several wonderful options), seating arrangements,linens, and menu. They also gave local recommendations for florists (Jeff @ Bowkay, owner and personally delivered) and cake byDEVOUR desserts in Mantua/Aston), both exceeded expectations. The food was very good and everyone was pleased with their meal ofeither crab cake with lobster sauce, NY strip, or chicken saltimbocca with smash red bliss and asparagus preceded by salad withcreamy balsamic and followed with ice cream & cake. My crab cake was one of the best ever and HUGE! We had an open bar and thefood/beverage service was spectacular from start to finish. They even accommodated last minute additions to have a champagnetoast and pitchers of mimosas which were a hit. The River patio room is private from the rest of the building, quiet, withexpansive views of the river where we enjoyed the wildlife (bald eagles) and maritime scene. It?s worth noting, the restroomsare on the other side of the restaurant (and it?s large) and it could be a significant walk and an impt consideration forelderly or handicapped guests. Thank you Riverwinds for offering your beautiful modern waterside restaurant that was perfectfor making our celebration special. When great customer service, meets delicious food, it?s a win win! Well, if you're looking for a great restaurant with the perfect ambience and delicious food this is the place! Our group of four... started off with the calamari (so much), mussels, French onion soup, Caesar salad/house salad. The main Entree were: porterhousesteak, surf and turf (2) and the NY strip steak with two crab cakes. Our waitress was fantastic, I think her name was Liza but Iknow for sure her 5 month old baby name is L. The food just melts in your mouth. Perfectly prepared. Love the Riverwinds! Amazing food! Great service , our waitress was Leah k. She was very attentive and great personality! Love... ?? the ambiance of the place. Took my husband for his birthday and we both had a lovely time. The crabby angel hair pasta wasquite tasty! We share the carrot ???? cake! Yum! We will definitely be back.
