We got a little bit of everything. About 60$ worth of food to try a bunch of different things. Each thing was better than the... last. We loved it. Sweet plantains especially were fantastic. Read more

Delicious food and polite service. Was very pleased with my Cuban sandwich.\n\nUpdate 9/5/22\n\nI decided to try the Torta de... chorizo today. I don\'t know what to heck I got today but that was not chorizo. I\'m of Mexican decent and I definitely knowwhat a torta de chorizo taste and look like. I\'m guessing the girl gave me the wrong sandwich. It tasted like canned cornedbeef. Really greasy and bland. Was expensive almost like almost 8 dollars. Service is good but was very disappointed with what Igot today. Read more

Good place to get a very casual bite to eat. It\'s clean inside and the staff was great.\n\nOnly thing I didn\'t like was they... give you plastic forks and knives which makes cutting meat a pain. Other than that it was a nice little place Read more

I wanted very much for this place to impress me. It failed miserably. The red beans looked like they sat overnight, the black... beans not so much as a hint of garlic or onions. The rice was flavorless, with peas and carrots inexplicably peppered throughoutthe white rice. The beef “stew” was tough and undercooked, as, I imagine, the chicken version.\nOverall this place has theair of “I’ve always dreamed if having a restaurant” executed by someone who had no idea what a challenge cooking at scaleis.\nI didn’t like it, I can’t recommend it, I certainly wont visit again.\nIt’s a shame that the Favi that was therepreviously didn’t last. They were head and shoulders above whatever Garlic’s owners are going for here. Read more

It\'s nice to have a new place in town. I was hoping to get back again then leave review but it has not happened. I went the... first week it was open. It\'s very clean. The person working was polite and helpful. I went around 1. So not sure if it wasthe time of day. But the pork was little dry the lime added a little flavor. The rice was ok. It was not horrible just plain. I would think with the name Garlic the seasoning would be on point. No I didn\'t expect to extra Garlic just flavorful that\'sall. I\'m hoping it was they are still trying to figure out there grove. I hope they succeed there. We need somethingdifferent in town. Plus break the curse of that building! I do plan on going back and trying something different. Then I willmade my decision about it. Read more
