So, I come here very often because my workplace is close by. The food is delicious as always, but the problem is the tipping.... Tipping has become pretty prevalent in today's age, and I'm all for people getting paid what they deserve to be paid. However..Ive noticed that every time I can't afford to tip as much as I usually do ( I tip $1-$2 dollars each time depending on how manyitems I get, since it's just lunch. However, I also do not make a bunch of money so at times I can only afford for them to keepthe change, ) some part of my order is incorrect. Whether the size of the fries were a small when it was supposed to be amedium, or I paid for extra bacon and didn't receive it on a burger.. something is always incorrect with my order when I tipless than a dollar or two. I thought I was imagining things at first, but I've been coming for a few months and it has, withoutfail, happened every time when I say keep the change instead of adding a dollar or two on. Listen, I understand fast foodworkers work extremely hard for nothing. Public service workers are so underappreciated, and I know because I've been one mostof my life. However, I wish that the companies we work for would pay a liveable wage instead of make these workers rely ontips.. and when the customer can't afford a decent tip, it can be irritating, upsetting, or at worse cause someone to bespiteful and mess up our food. I'm not blaming anyone at Sonic because I know they work very hard.. but it is a pattern I'venoticed for a long time. On top of all this, at this specific location, I notice that when I give my regular tip amount, theemployees smile and answer my question of if the sauce is in the bag ( I always get some, but as I mentioned before, most timesthe sauce is forgotten when the tip is less than normal, ) with patience. However, when I ask that question and don't give asmuch because I can't, I'll get cut off in the middle of my question with a ' yeah ' and then they walk away. These ar Read more

Not sure why I keep giving this location chance after chance. The oil is never changed in the fryers and the wait is ridiculous.... Today was 25 minutes for a coney meal which came with no fork or napkins which are fairly important for eating in my car on mylunch hour. Of course the tots were fried in what I can only assume is week old oil. Every time I come here is a mistake. I willno longer make this mistake Read more

There were no cars waiting for food when we pulled in but it somehow took 5 min to order and 20 min to make our food. Still got... cold/stale tots and fries. Why do they make you ask for ketchup when you ordered food with two orders of fries and an order oftots? Won?t be coming back. Is there something going on with all the sonics in the area? The carhop gave me the same story Ialways hear: understaffed. Read more

Waited 20 minutes when I'm the only car in the drive through while they're dancing inside instead of doing their jobs and this... is after I waited 10 minutes at the stall with no answer. Get home to find hair in my food, disgusting and horribleservice. Decided to give this location another try and that was a big mistake on my part. Slow as hell, 22 minutes for 3drinks. Still 1 star service at best and 20 minutes seems to be the fastest these folks can get orders out so don't come here ifyou're in a rush. Read more

EDITED TO ADD SONIC'S RESPONSE RECEIVED AFTER SUBMITTING THE ISSUE AS SUGGESTED BY OWNER'S REPLY TO THE ORIGINAL POST BELOW. I... was at the window for about 30 minutes tonight after ordering a small blast and cup of vanilla ice cream. The first 5 minutes orso was waiting to pay, about 9:10 PM, as I left the drive through my clock said 9:34 PM. I cannot provide exact times as I wasnot provided a receipt, There was at least 7 cars behind me so I didn't push for one. Their apology for the wait was consideredfor this rating. From my extended window view WHAT I OBSERVED was 3 employees wiping their hands on their clothes, touchingtheir hair, I believe it was a trainee pulling at the underarms of her t-shirt, taking orders and viewing the backed up orderson the screen, starting several cups of ice cream that sat for several minutes on the counter, 2 people not in uniform that mayhave been friends or one may have been an employee not on the clock, and all of the outside lights being turned off at 9:14 PM.WHAT I DID NOT SEE during that time was anyone wash their hands at any time, any sense of organization or urgency completing anorder for those of us in line. To be fair, one of the 3 employees came in to the area that could be seen from the window afterabout 10 minutes just as another employee took one order out and returned with a small bag on her tray, in theory, they couldhave washed their hands during that time.
