Brad's review is spot on, as is some of the lower ones. Some of the positive reviews seem to be bots, but most must be on days... with different staff or something. Anyhow- the employees are often in a bad mood, will slam ingredients down. You try to talk tothem, they're rude and unwilling to make eye contact. Many of the locals, college students or even normal residents, know this.I've spoken to a few individuals and its incredible in 2022 that they choose to only treat people nice if you look like them.The pizza was ok though with good portions. The service was non-existent if you aren't drinking alcoholic drinks. I should have gotten it to go. Can you eat just the pizza... crust without any ranch from here? Yes I got the pizza with the hot honey, goats cheese and arugula. Ingredients: they were ofhigher quality then the typical chain restaurants and overall pretty good. Execution of cooking: it was fully cooked but not ashot as it should have been when it was delivered to the table meaning it sat out for a while when the bartender picked it up toomuch time has passed and they were not existent at their post half the time I was dining there. I LOVE &pizza so much ever since I tried them for the first time back in 2015. Every time I visit DC, I have to eat there a... couple of times at least. It?s always so well-made with great ingredients. I downloaded the new app just this week and was superexcited to get a discount. Excellent pizza! Quick and efficient! They were a little skimpy on the side of ranch, which was 75 cents extra. Love the taste... of the flatbread and I?m not a bread person. I also got the chocolate chip cookie and I?m not a fan. They should stick to pizza.I could have passed on the cookie. The pizza was great, so I will definitely be back! Read more
I'm from New York, where the pizza comes from, so I'll keep this brief. It might not be exactly how we do it, but it's good.... There's a sort of assembly line feel to it as you order and follow your pizza around from topping to topping. It's sort of hardnot to be emotionally invested in something after you've watched it grow like that. Read more
Best pizza that I have had. Honey on pizza?!? Yes!! I went crazy on ingredients. And was not disappointed. My daughter... has been coming here for the last year. Good thing I don't live in DC I would go broke. No inside dining. Some tables in frontand out back. You need to try this place if you are in the mood for good pizza. Read more
This was a pleasant surprise/find in Foggy Bottom Washington! I was pleased at: 1.) The Pizza options at &Pizza 2.) The ambiance... - a.) You can eat in out at tables outside b.) If you want a beer or wine with your pizza they have an AMAZING arrangementwith Hive Hotel adjacent(walk into the hotel bar and order from their FANTASTIC selection of craft beers). 3.) The place is easyon the wallet. This is a great concept(the joint venture between &Pizza and The Hive Hotel). It took me a moment to get used tothe pizza ordering process, but the team did a great job on my spinach, cheese, sausage and pineapple pizza. Good pizza but that?s it. Not that there is anything wrong with good pizza but we felt the place needed a bit of a longer menu,... we missed something else besides pizza. Service is ok, it was kind of slow the day we went and our waiter was very polite andattentive. Beer is good, they have a good selection including a few locals. The place is tiny and perhaps could feel crampedon a busier day but overall ok. Pizza tasted good, I wouldn?t mind stopping bu for another pie anytime that we are back in DC. Read more
