Excellent tapas lunch. We sat at bar height tables. Service was a little slow getting to us but picked up once we ordered. We... were served by a friendly waiter. Everything was beautifully presented, perfect temperature, and deliciously flavorful.Meatballs were tender. Garlic shrimp was great. Lots of bread to mop up the sauces. Mushroom croquettes were crispy on theoutside and soft and delicious on the inside. Tender lamb skewers on warm toast were delicious. Corn was good but not amazing. We also ordered a non alcoholic cocktail which was refreshing and tasty. Finally a short coffee and churro ended the mealperfectly. A bit pricey but those are the prices in DC. There’s also a lovely full service outdoor patio. Read more

The highlights: Patatas Braves- garlicky, sweet and crunchy outside perfection pickled anchovies- in a citrusy sweet brine,... perfect combo Lamb skewers- the sauce and the crunchy bread were perfect, and the meat didn’t add or takeaway from thatperfection French toast on the weekends with the citrus honey, so good. Seafood paella, medium size didn’t have a lot ofseafood. Still a good flavor profile Read more

I was so engulfed in the atmosphere and conversation that I almost completely forgot to take any pictures of the food or... setting! All I remembered to snap was my small size plate of paella which was absolutely scrumptious! Sat outside on the patioarea on a nice evening and the vibe was electrically cozy. Had a few tapas to start off too but missed the mark in grabbingthose pics. Overall a well done experience in Dupont! Read more

Really good tapas this side of Atlantic. My first experience here was a five star experience with good variety of tapas. I’d... recommend the Boqueria Experience since you get to have quite a variety of tapas. The red sangria was equally as refreshing asthe the whole experience. A week later I went back again. This time it was a three star experience. The octopus was over cookedand tough, the pitcher of sangria was more ice then actual sangria, and the paella was lacking saffron and had excessive salt. The Boqueria Experience was not offered because the restaurant wasn’t busy enough(?). We we’re told we need a minimum ofparty of eight to order the Boqueria Experience. Anyways the rest of the food and service was still good, just not a wowexperience like before. At spending nearly one hundred dollars per person each time, I expected more. It’s unfortunate but Idon’t see myself coming back here again. Read more

Great tapas! We went al la carte on our choices and shared (two items per person). It was more than enough food and delicious.... Staff was very gracious, and outdoor seating was perfect. Read more

The wife didn't like it. Meat entrees were better. She found it to oily. Overall I would rate it just fine, with a good service.

Started out slow with the service but once our server warmed up, her recommendation were amazing. The potatoes were ok but the... broccoli, lamb skewers and octopus were amazing. We ordered 2 more tapas of the lamb and bottomless sangrias. If you like sweetthan go for the the white or rose'. The red is solid if you enjoy something more dry. Check out the pics below Read more

Delicious food, comes out fast, great service. The waitress did a great job recommending items to us and the sangria was... delicious! Get out there, go for it, try something new. You won’t regret it at Boqueria! Read more
