This is a family owned authentic Ethiopian restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. We ordered the... family meat special that comes with multiple dishes of chicken, beef, goat, cabbage, lentils, and chickpeas. All of the itemswere mind-blowingly delicious at a reasonable price. The ambiance was great and people were really nice. Ask for the spice tea,it's great. Also plenty of street parking nearby if you are traveling by car. Would come back again. Read more

Myself and one other person shared the Family Meat and Veggies Special. It came with 4 meat items (pre-set) and 4 veggies... options of your choosing. It could definitely feed 3-4 people. One of the meat items had lamb which we don't like, but we wereable to substitute in another veggie option. Everything was delicious! Once we ordered, the food came out quickly. We alsoordered hot tea after the meal. The service was great. The servers were super friendly and attentive without beingoverbearing. All of the seating is inside. It's a smaller place, but they do a great job of getting people in as quickly aspossible without rushing those who are there. Read more

An absolutely fabulous dining experience. The food was so tasty and the service was exceptional. The staff and owner came by... regularly to make sure we were well attended to. We felt the portion and prices were very good for the D.C. area. I recommendthe veggie and meat sharable platter. Make sure to leave room for some of the mesmerizing Ethiopian coffee. Read more

Their platters are large enough to feed 2-3 persons so if you're with someone, I would recommend you order that to sample what's... available. The restaurant is family owned and they make you feel at home. The server asked patrons in the restaurant if they hadEthiopian food before which I thought was a nice gesture to help guests try new foods. The food itself was delicious, definitely a fan of the injera bread (slightly sour and fluffy bread as it is a fermented food). Would revisit this place in thefuture. Read more

Hands. Down. Best. Ethiopian. Food. Ever! Food is aromatic and will make you salivate upon entry! It was such a pleasure to be... served by the talented Chef Seferash! She was extremely hospitable and kind, despite being short-staffed. If you?re in DC, youMUST visit this place! We ordered the Family Meat & Veggie Combo, Veggie Spring Rolls, and Fosolia. Stop by and see whatyou?re missing! Read more

The food is AMAZING, and the server was so helpful and friendly!! I'd only had Ethiopian once before, so I'm new to it. The... combo options make sampling several dishes very easy, and they're a great deal at $10-15 per person. Everything was deliciousand super filling. I will definitely be visiting again! 10/10 Read more
