Great sports pub vibes. A sports bar plus Pho menu. Very solid all around for good prices.
When I first started going to this restaurant I had a positive experience. I order the Cobb salad with steak added and it was so... fresh and delicious. It became my favorite meal that I would get weekly for my lunch. But this week when I went my salad wasoff. I love me a fresh and I know when one is not. When expressing this to the server he seem to be sincere about it. I work inthe building above the restaurant and suddenly I felt very sick getting on elevator after lunch. When getting off the elevatorI ran to the bathroom to release vomit from the salad. My co workers noticed that I didn?t look well. I went home early to restand when I went to the doctor they said I had food poisoning. I went back today to inform the manager and she was very rude andsaid I should have told them the same day. I told her that I did tell the server that the salad was bad. She didn?t care howsick I was but said she never give bad food. I felt really bad because I love going there on my lunch break and now I don?thave a place for my break that close. I just want to warn you that this restaurant will not admit that they are wrong. At first glance, this looks like any bar/ restaurant in DC. The selections of fried edibles like hot wings, burgers, etc...... seems to confirm this. And there is the long bar with Guinness on tap which are also familiar sights in so many other bars.Before you turn to exit to look for a more unique place, or take comfort with it's familiarity, look more closely at their menu.There is a section dedicated to Vietnamese dishes. We tried some and found them delicious! Vietnamese food at Froggy Bottom Pub?These words shouldn't be in the same sentence let alone in the same place. Got Pho Froggy to go (go in and ask to order takeout) and it was delicious and fresh. Best part was the kind and considerate... service, though. I?d like to go back during their happy hour, since it looks like they have really cool cocktails and I felt acomfortable vibe the time I spent there. Also they clearly mark gluten free (and other allergen) items on their menu, which isalways very much appreciated. Read more

We came here during a quick visit to DC on a Saturday afternoon. The pub food I ordered (Fish & chips) was very nice. Proper... fish pieces were hand-battered and fried crisp. One of my kids had the PHÒ and it was unexpectedly wonderful. Simple noodlesand meat but the broth were exceptionally good. Moses was the gentleman who served our food. I say he was also a 5-star server,quick, witty and nice. I would definitely like to come back when we are around. Read more
Stopped by here for lunch on a weekend while I was in DC for a work trip. Not many Asian restaurants in the area but this place... serves quite decent pho, which you might not expect for a pub! I had the Pho Froggy - broth was flavourful but the amount ofbeef was on the lighter side. Nice environment and friendly staff, overall I?d definitely recommend. Read more
