First time here and it was a nice experience. It's by the water so you can sit outside and get a fresh breeze on a summer... night. The Food: 1. The Salsa and Chips Starter - The salsa has its own flavor compared to similar Mexican or Latinrestaurants. 2. The Burrito - This was a pretty good burrito, the rice and beans were also well flavored. Guacamole wasexcellent. 3. The Taco Appetizer - These were small but pretty good. Wish there was more. A friend who was visiting from out of town and I dined at Guapo’s a couple of weeks ago. We both remarked at the large portion... sizes. We could have ordered one dish and shared ????. The food was good and so was the atmosphere of the restaurant. It wasquite busy on the day we dined but we were seated promptly and served within a reasonable amount of time. The wait staff wereall very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely dine here again. Read more
We experienced a fast and delicious lunch for a good price. Our waitress was as very fast, friendly and attentive. The food was... perfect cooked and spiced accordingly. We came for lunch and honestly got so full we had to leave half the food. Healthy sized portions, quick service and a good drink... menu. The salsa for the complimentary chips was … not it. We ordered the fundito with chorizo which was amazing, though theonions could have been chopped up a bit more. I ordered the seafood enchilada but ate it before I took a picture. This traveling foodie was more than impressed by Guapos. It’s location is amongst other popular restaurants in the area. We... were welcomed with great energy and seated quickly. Water, chips, and dip were brought to the table. I personally wasn’t a fanof the house salsa. Not because it was bad just not my forte. Let me say this loud and proud….GET THE HORCHATA. No questionsasked, it tasted homemade and flavorful. The best I have had personally. Our table was cleaned off often and water pouredwithout even asking. We ordered a steak bowl and shrimp tacos. The staff was friendly. They were quite busy but we were seated in a timely manner. The food was presented well. Fresh, hot and... very tasty. The Margarita’s were also good. There was a section in the restaurant outside of the kitchen where a woman rollingout dough for tortillas in house. That was neat to see.
