I want to start off by saying my partner and I have been coming to this place for years now and the staff NEVER... disappoints. Matthew our waiter this past weekend was amazing. He was the ONLY waiter serving 7-8 tables, with about 5 peopleat each table. I couldn't believe the amazing amount of hospitality we received despite the restaurant being down a few people.The drinks were very strong as always and the food was delicious. They have had a $60 brunch Groupon for the last 3 years nowand it's the perfect price for the amount of food you get. Not to mention the bottomless drinks. 5 ? Read more
Wanda at the bar was THE BEST! She took excellent care of this out of towner. Dressed well, knew the menu and never came up... without a beaming smile on her face. I have always highly recommended this place and people like her are the reason why! Read more
This place has a lot of potential. The menu, ambience and location all looked great. However, from the moment we walked in, the... hostess appeared to not understand us when we mentioned our reservation. She took us to a table and we waited over 10 minutes tobe greeted. My husband got up to ask for a server. In response they sent over the same hostess (according to her they were verybusy so she would take our order). She was unable to describe any of the food, how it tasted, whether it was spicy or not etc..Later we were assigned a server who apologized for the situation with the hostess. The server proceeded to ask for our wholeorder (we had just given the host) all over again. As for the food- the potatoes with the lamb chops were a little lemony, thelamb chops could have been a little more tender. The Tzatziki sauce should have been an accompanying side as it is a traditionalGreek sauce. Instead, a heaping bowl of it was served in a bowl for $10 when we asked for a little bit. Nothing was terrible butit could have been better. The SA Nathanael saved the experience he was so kind and welcoming. He also took the time to make theexperience intimate and make conversation. the food was absolutely fantastic. the server can use some training. she kept forgetting our orders and charged twice on the... credit card. it will eventually get all sorted out but didn't make any positive contributions to my experience. would have given5 stars if only the service was better. Enjoyed the business 3 course lunch. Lots to chose from; I started with the Prisini salad - Romain hearts, capers, scallions,... dill and a feta dressing. Filled with Greek flavor. Next I had the grilled chicken souvlaki with hand cut fries, homemadetzatziki over a tomato & red onion slice. I finished with a delectable yogurt cake and an espresso! My favorite part of thewhole lunch was Wanda, the manager who was beyond kind. I thought I was eating at my sister’s house…all love! My onlyconstructive sharing is more of a reminder to myself that chicken breast on a skewer isn’t as juicy as lamb or pork so be sureto dip in the tzatziki sauce; still we’ll seasoned and moist. Went here for a date night dinner. Place has an upscale ambiance and is spacious. The food was prepared very well, octopus and... the Sea bass were my favorite. The fish doesn't come with sides so you do have to order those separately. Portion size is goodenough but the service was a bit slow, waiter only came by once. Good seafood, worth visiting. Read more
Great choice for dine in during restuarant week. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when it came to questions we had... about the menu. I had the Chicken Souvlaki as my entree and it was great. For me the highlight had to have been the Octopus.Super delicious & was a great option to share around the table. Read more
Celebrated a Birthday Dinner here with Friends and Family. We ordered to our heart’s content and nothing was less than... superb! I can honestly profess the Octopus app is the best I have ever encountered. The flavors, textures and presentation wasspot on. I can’t stop talking about it! Everything was Fresh! Most people ordered Lamb Shank, which was unreal! Nevertheless,I am going to argue the Seafood options are truly the star of the show at Kellari! Greek wines paired perfectly! SeafoodEntrees demanded a glass of Assyrtiko and the Wine List had several fantastic labels to choose from! I will say the cocktailscould have been jazzed up with some garnishes to step up the presentation factor, but that would be my only critique! A minimalone at that! No regrets spending my Celebratory evening here! I highly recommend! ** Please Note: we parked in the garagelocated next to the restaurant and everyone had complications trying to leave the garage as the gate did not respond to the paidticket.
