I ate here for the 1st time last night and the food was really good. I had the Salmon Relleno that was on a special menu, it was... salmon stuffed with crabmeat. The black beans were really good and seasoned well, which i mixed with my rice. I heard theirswirl margaritas are also good but I had just come from the wine festival, so I was done with those types of libations for theday. My only complaint is I hated those little water glasses, I had like 5 refills and still needed more.???????????Neighborhood is tough to park in but restaurant had $5 parking behind it, which I finally saw after driving around a bit. Foodis decently priced as well, I would not mind going here again. ???? Another plus is their chips for salsa are freshly made, honestly haven't seen that at too many restaurants up here. Good job???????? #lauriolplaza Read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting DuPont circle and I’m glad I did. I had the brisket tacos and 2 margaritas in... which the brisket tacos were so juicy and full of flavor. The margarita I just wished had a bit more alcoholic but still goodfor what it was. Would definitely return to try other food off their menu. Read more

Actually I’ve been coming to this restaurant consistently over 20 years! Why? Because their food and service is consistently... fabulous. After Covid, we decided to visit again yesterday, and once again the food was fantastic. We had a really good time aswe where accommodated in the main dining area, since I had a foot injury. The bus boy was a very young kid, shy but smiling. Heserved us with the most delish and warm home made tortilla chips (best in town according to me and 20+ years experience cominghere.) Their salsa is now a bit more hot than I recalled but still tasty! The waiter seemed seasoned although a tad delayed inasking if we needed more water. But all in all the food was out quickly, their legendary frozen drinks on a scorching DC Sundaywere amazing as well. We ordered the gambas al ajillo and tostones as an appetizer and to dine we had masitas de puerco and lomosaltado. Their portions are hefty and come with rice, black beans and they add two sweet plantains as well. Everything was onpoint! If you are in the city this restaurant has a variety of foods in their menu to enjoy. You won’t be disappointed. Ialways know they’ll take good care of us! Read more

terrible service, the food runner with a super bitter lemon face, the waiter arrives at the table 20 minutes after we sat down... and does not say hello, it was the worst experience of my life the only kind people were the hostesses in that I give them a 5some nice girls. I ordered some mussels which were bland I think even my grandmother cooked better than the restaurant's chef, the chips full of oil and all broken looked like breadcrumbs Read more
