I had high expectations for this restaurant. The dishes were dirty, the bread was undercooked, the pasta was ok but the food... took forever to arrive. Based on the prices of this restaurant you should get a better meal better service. Read more
What an amazing experience dining at Lupo Verde. Everything from the ambiance, hand crafted cocktails to our mouth watering... meals. Our bartenders, wait staff and even the restaurant management were all very kind and personable. We felt so at home whiledining at this establishment. So, much so that the Executive Chef came out just to take a photo with us. By far, one of the mostauthentic Italian restaurants in DC. Love this place. Highly recommend it!! Read more
Loved the atmosphere here, and the waiters were all very nice. We thought everything would be a small portion but they gave us... much more than expected, maybe price was higher? Not sure about it but anyways the food was great especially the calamari andgnocchi with clams! Read more
Cannot rave about this place enough! The most authentic Italian food you'll ever have in the U.S. I'm so happy I found this... place because the food is unbelievable. We ordered the bruschetta and gnocchi and it was good to the last bite. The wait staffwas very friendly and our drinks were always refilled. We will definitely be back! Read more
I like it here. Been a few times already, once for dinner and twice for brunch. Their fixed priced brunch is great. Flavors are... fresh and pasta is amazing. Drinks are good too. Service is appropriate and prices are comparable to similar type ofestablishments if only slightly better. Read more
The social brunch is such a great deal! For $35 pp you get an appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 side, and a bottle of sparkling wine to... share. The food was delicious. I wish our server would have been able to explain the menu options a bit more. We chose a steakdish but had no idea it was actually a sandwich. When I asked the server about it he didn’t explain how the dish waspresented. Luckily, it worked out and we loved it. I know the service industry is struggling to find staff, and that our serverwas doing the best he could with little support. This may be a wild idea but maybe his manager could’ve helped him versuswalking around and not engaging with guests? Also, the young lady doing “wine service” needs to be taught the propertechnique of opening sparkling wine. If not she might take an eye out. Other than that… I would dine here again. Read more
A really cute place with good food! I ordered the clam gnocchi on the recommendation of the waiter, it was fantastic though a... small portion. My husband got the Italian sausage and black truffle tagliatelle, it was slightly less flavorful but he liked it.The cocktails were great and the service was too! Plan to return soon! Read more
Excellent dining experience! The Cesar salad was fantastic and I asked for anchovies on the side. The lettuce was crisp and the... dressing was proportionate & complimentary. I also enjoyed dipping the homemade focaccia bread in the table side extra virginolive oil. I also had the bolognese which was perfecto!! Highly recommend this place. Great ambiance with friendly service. Iespecially loved the Christmas decoration. The desserts also looked great. I took a lemon cake to go and ended the evening witha single espresso Mama Mia!!!
