Surprisingly, food at museum's cafeteria can be good. Everything was very well seasoned and delicious. The rib has a sweet taste... from the sauce that they brush on top. The salad the comes with it is very good. The goat stew has somewhat a strong goat smellbut it is fine for me, and the meat is really soft. Dipping the fry bread in the stew is really tasty. Dessert is the only thingthat is disappointing. Read more

We really enjoyed the three sisters salad, wheat berry salad, and enchilada! The wheat berries were chewy and well-cooked, with... a light dressing with the mushrooms, and the beans had a great marinade and balance of textures and flavors. The jicama saladwas alright but I?m pretty sure it gave me mild food poisoning - hard to tell for sure though. I really appreciated thedifferent options, especially the healthy options, and the staff. It was overpriced and the lack of free water made me a littlemad (and $4 for a teabag) but I get that?s how they make money. It?s a cool concept for a cafe! Read more

The Navajo Taco was great! The frybread was definitely yummy and something I've missed, and the Hatch green chilis (albeit,... canned) were a great addition! The staff here is super friendly as well. A great addition to a great and iconic part of theSmithsonian. Read more

Cafeteria style restaurant inside the museum (they had several food trucks parked outside the museum too). The fry bread for my... Indian taco was the best I've ever had: it was perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not too greasy. Thecafe is expensive, though: $50 for my daughter and I to have lunch with no dessert and only water to drink. Since the museum isfree, though, it seems like a good way to support it. Read more

Delicious crispy fry bread ( I could have eaten this all day), multi colour corn tortilla chips with creamy guacamole, thick... gorgeous refried beans and a tamale with a gently warming tomato salsa were the vegan treats in this essential museum space. Amust visit! Read more

The lunch here was mediocre at best. First, there was not a very big selection. I ordered a cheeseburger and steak fries. The... steak fries were very good. The burger was dried out, burnt, and on a roll that was way to big for it. They only had cannedsoda, both fountain soda machines had an ?out of order? sign on it. We also got the fry bread which I thought was good. Read more
