Being out of town finding a place to enjoy good grub can be a game of roulette. We were so pleased with our experience at... Nicoletta's. We were seated immediately, our server was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Our meals were delish. We startedwith the calamari. It was lightly fried and was a tasty start. I was happy when I was told I could order a half and half pizza,as I was so undecided since all the options sounded tasty. I went with the Calabrese and Margherita, and both were amazing. Onepie is more than enough for two people. I was happy to leave with leftovers. My hubby ordered the Tagliatelle. It was creamy andflavorful, a great meal. I first ate at Nicoletta’s Italian Kitchen in 2019, and it was my first experience having Burrata. When coming back to the... city this weekend for an exhibit, I made sure that we had a reservation so I could experience that same amazing flavor again. Iwas not disappointed! We started with the Lotte’s Lemonade and the Smoky Margarita, and they were both fresh and incredible!We were eating before an exhibit, so we stuck to apps and had the Burrata, Calamari & Chop Salad. My memory of the Burrata wasnot incorrect…it’s still the best I’ve ever had! The calamari was seasoned perfectly and the Pomodoro sauce was tart, hadjust enough tooth from the garlic and onion, and a little lemony spark. The chop salad was perfectly dressed in an exceptionalherb vinaigrette gently coating the romaine & radicchio with little bites of provolone, prosciutto, olives, peppadews andchickpeas. I cannot recommend Nicolettas highly enough… I will fly here from Michigan just for dinner! Read more
Yet another new Italian themed restaurant has opened in the NY Avenue and 4th street area. Service was not consistent and for a... while our server seemed to have forgotten us. Nicoletta had some of the typical dishes and the gnocchi had a nice touch withthe topping. The result was a pleasant meal that was not too expensive. Read more
This was some of THE BEST FOOD I’ve had while in DC. Everything was absolutely delicious from their appetizer to their... dessert. Their service was absolutely flawless and their menu was reasonably priced! I would go back here every week if Icould. I HIGHLY recommend getting their pizza.
