Outstanding small restaurant with high quality food. We went there with friends for a birthday and started with several small... dishes. The garlic knots and brussel sprouts were really good. The pickled veggies were good, but with multiple people sharingthe one piece of bread was awkward to share without a knife to cut it up. We all got different pasta dishes and they were verygood. The mushroom pasta was excellent, the short rib ravioli was very good, and the sausage pasta was good. The staff here isoutstanding and our waiter was incredible at describing the dishes and recommending things based on how we were feeling. Theonly downside to this place is that it is in the Adams Morgan area, but at least not on the main strip. Read more
This place is so amazing I want to keep it to myself. However, I will reluctantly (but enthusiastically) recommend it! I've been... gluten free for about 10 years and over that time, have eaten a lot of gf pasta. This was by far the best I've had. And thesauce (pork based) was incredible. Reveler’s Hour is a dimly lit Italian spot nestled on Columbia Road in Adams Morgan. If you’re googling the name you... probably have heard DC food pundits talking about this place, but let me tell you it crushed my expectations. We had Evan as ourwaiter who expertly guided us through the menu and even had some fun facts about the wine we picked. Started with the meatballsand the pickle plate (the bread was out of this world and perfect to sop up the remaining ricotta and tomato from themeatballs). Then Evan suggested the Lumache and the special Beef Rib. How could we say no? It is easy for one to forget just howimportant a perfectly Al dente pasta is, and this place knows how to remind you. The Beef rib was exquisite, and the horseradishsalsa verde was to die for. After all that how could we have room for dessert? How could We not? We devoured the Pecorino cake!It was a Revelation (see what I did there). TL;DR: Amazing food, atmosphere, service, and wine selection. A must eat in DC. Read more
Wow! Phenomenal meal, wine pairings and excellent, personable service by Miles. (We had the eggplant arancini, Bolognese and a... chocolate granache dessert with amaretto cookies.) I was immediately helped by an extremely knowledgeable staff member, who... provided me 3 options within my price range that fit what I was looking for. Really impressed with the service I received,can’t wait to come back for dinner in the near future! And I came back for dinner finally!
