While visiting DC on a road trip to Boston, I decided to give this place a try. Im so so glad I found this Thai cozy yummy... cuisine. I did a quick google search and they had the best reviews from my location. It was in Oct on a holiday so they wherenot busy at all. I ordered via telephone, my food was ready in approx. 20min. I'm ok with the wait, good food doesn't need to beprepared quickly. Parking tip: hubs stayed in the car while on the side of the street, so no parking issues for us, also onmost holidays street parking is free in DC, your welcome, Lol! Food was good and hot, we found a lovely park and enjoyed our togo food. Serving size was more than enough for lunch. I had the green curry and my spouse had the chicken fried rice. andchicken satay. The inside of restaurant was clean and tidy, staff was very professional. I did feel welcome, and this will be ago to spot if Im in town, yes I highly recommend them. Our food was absolutely delicious, not to spicy but just perfect! Read more

This is a cute little Thai place in Chinatown. They are on the cutting edge of technology: you can view the menu, order, and pay... all from your phone (but they said they could take our order the regular way too). I had the pumpkin curry with brown rice, bothof which are not completely common. The pumpkin curry had a good amount of meat and veggies: red and green bell peppers, calabaza squash, and basil. Yum! It was perfectly spicy: enough to make my nose run. My daughter had the Tom ka chicken soup, which she liked. Great place! Highly recommend! Read more

We came here for lunch on a hot day of walking around the city. The food was terrific and the service was good! The atmosphere... was just okay, I think it might be better for takeout especially since you order from your phone at the table anyway. The foodis the real star of this place - we got the duck roll appetizer, pineapple fried rice, and vegetable pad Thai. All dishes wereperfect! Read more

Food was cool. Across the street from the hotel I was staying at. Had a couple beers. Got the spicy Thai rice. It was super... spicy couldn’t really enjoy it but tasted good from what i had. I sat at the bar. Small quaint. Good customer service. Read more

The restaurant is located in China Town. We have to order online by scanning the QR code. It will redirect you to the menu and... you can order and pay in one click. A little bit pricey but reasonable for Washington DC. The restaurant is small and compact. The service is good. I loved the food even though the taste is not excellent. Read more

Service was good. Food was as expected, good. Decor was fine, but tables are really close. Space is pretty tight. Restaurant was... clean. Single unisex bathroom. In Chinatown area, close to the metro. I enjoyed everything I ordered. If you like Thai, this isa good place to dine in or carry out. Read more

We were in DC for a short weekend trip and decided to give Royal Thai a try because it was close to our hotel. We had the Pad... Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, and the Thai Iced Tea. Everything was amazing, especially the Iced Tea. The restaurant is verysmall, so not a lot of room for seating, but it just makes it feel cozy. We'll definitely be looking to come back the next timewe're in town. Read more
