Went here on a Friday night, and I had a great night out. I bought one drink for $13. Two days later my bank notifies me I am... being charged $17 with a 31% tip. I tipped $2 on $13 from what I remember, and my bank says I tipped $4 according to thereceipt. I am always happy to tip my bartenders, what I am not happy about is the tip amount changing after the fact. Icontacted the business to look more into this issue to make sure no errors were made, and I got no response. I emphasized thatI don't care about the extra money but it is the principle of bartenders changing tips. Wish this issue could have been lookedinto more so I would have some clarity. Maybe I made a mistake, but I'll never know because no one responded. Weeks have gone bynow so no point. Won't be returning. Read more
Giving 3 stars because the waitress and drink were cool. The food..... SMH Came for HH around 5:30. I assume everyone was on... the roof or deck, because the inside was empty. We were greeted and served immediately. I was hungry, but because it was myfirst time there I didn't know what to expect with the menu. Nothing appealed to me so I decided to keep it simple with theTurkey Sandwich.... ?????????????????????? it was all bread amd tomato. Literally, one slice of turkey and a slice of Americancheese. The tomatoe was cut almost as thick as the bread. Like, I've literally made better turkey and cheese sandwiches athome. $12 wasted..... We went to saufhaus on a Saturday at around 4pm and it was packed! The dj was good but the music was way too loud and our ears... were ringing for days afterwards. The drinks are expensive (about $13 for a small mixed drink and $13 for a beer) since tip wasalready included. Overall the rooftop was pretty fun Read more

This was definitely not what I was expecting for a German style beer garden. Like other reviewers have said, this is more like a... club than a beer garden. We came here at 2pm on a Sunday, and their music was so unbelievably loud on their patio that none ofus in our group could have a conversation. When we asked if there were other places to sit, a bartender told us no, which seemedwild to me because they had a sizable indoor area that was totally empty. I get having a club environment at night but in broaddaylight? That seems unnecessary and extremely unpleasant. Read more
Me and my friends went here last Saturday after a very disappointing brunch somewhere else. The staff was very friendly, and... helpful, and took our orders quickly. Drinks and food were both great, with decent prices. The DJ played a great mix of musicand we all had a great time. Would definitely recommend! Read more
All the signs, inside and outside (why we came in) say that it’s happy hour. When I asked the bartender, she told us AFTER... pouring our beers and taking our card that they “don’t have a happy hour.” Plus, the tab came with a 20% service charge.$25 for 2 beers and a cup of regret. Read more
