I just moved to the area and this is my closest Starbucks. I went there today not knowing it was a special Starbucks with... accommodations for the deaf and hard of hearing. The whole store is essentially silent and I really liked it. The baristas weresigning with customers and it as a very cool environment. Read more
This is one of the best Starbucks in the world. When they serve me my Pike place coffee. It's always volcano hot, just the way I... love it. The other Starbucks in the area is like hit or miss as far as the temperature. Kudos to this Starbucks. You alwayswill have my business at this location. Read more
What a cool environment! I had no idea that most or all of the staff communicates with sign language only. It took me by... surprise. It was extremely unique to observe them working and communicating together making coffees for a long list of mobileorders. They were very helpful when they realized I couldn?t sign, and they handed me a sketch pad to write my order on. Read more

I was with a group for school and after touring gallaudet, we stopped here for a quick drink and all i can say, is we where... greeted with smiles from beautiful people. I can say, it was probably the best Frappuccino I ever had. They we so nice, patient,and helpful as some of us struggled to sign our orders. Read more
THIS IS SO COOL. The staff is hard of hearing, and all you sign language. If you don't speak sign language, like me, you write... down your order. Everyone is really nice, it's absolutely quiet without blaring music, and it's seriously felt like steppinginto a little spot of bliss in the middle of a busy street. Worst customer service experience. Asked for a latter and gave me one without coffee on it, how is it possible ? Then I went to... ask for the coffee and they wanted me to pay for an extra espresso, didn?t even try to change it or make another one. Very poorexperience and they even expect tips? very funny !
