The cupcakes are too sweet, tho I like their creativity in flavors. The customer service is pretty bad however. I was told to... leave the store and order outside in the rain due to their personal Covid protocols. I suggest having free masks for yourcustomers in the future. A part from this, their prices are too expensive. $6 for a cupcake is WILD to me. I get it that DC rentis expensive but come on. Read more
Such a variety of vegan desserts. Loved their donuts (although not better than Dottie's donuts in Philadelphia). Texture's... great, maybe a bit better flavoring. Tasted great, but the strawberry and cream didn't taste like strawberry. I also tried thetriple chocolate, maybe it could use a glaze, but I'm really not complaining. Next time I'll try the vanilla glaze and anyother new flavors they might have. I LOVED their fudge brownie! Not too fudge-y, not too cake-y. Perfect chocolate chipcookies! Was super excited to visited Sticky Fingers. I fondly recall watching the owner on Cup Cake Wars and pulled for her because of... her vegan values. After a year of living in DC, I took my family to the store. My wife was given a piece of the doublechocolate cake, and we had to experience the shop for ourselves. Expectations were high for Sticky! When we walked in Iinitially thought that the neo look was interesting...but after looking around the store it seemed to be randomness that I founddifficult to connect with. When I order, the employee seemed to be rushed and somewhat annoyed. The store was not very clean. The products that I bought were tasty, but the entire experience left me wondering...is this the true Sticky Fingerexperience...? I hope not. I will be giving Sticky another try, but sometime you only get one chance to make a firstimpression. Read more
I have lived in Columbia heights now for over 10 years and have always seen sticky fingers bakery but have never actually been... there. But now since I am a vegan, let me tell you this is the perfect place. The cupcakes are to die for, and so is the ruebanwith sweet potato fries. My favorite is the sticky buns on my way to college.
