I called a little before closing and they served me, no problem. I got the jerk platter and Callaloo patty. Delicious! Full of... flavor and spices in every bite. I got the ital dinner (stew, cabbage, rice & peas) and the sea moss drink made with coconut milk and it was all delicious. Wish... there was more chikn in my stew though. What one reviewer described as bland I'd describe as clean flavors; the drink was notmilkshake sweet; the dinner had all your classic flavors without saltiness we often equate with flavor. I guess the food is good aslong as you don't go when time to close...no customer service what soever i ordered the curry chicken... coconut rice and peas my food was cold and dry no fork or napkins I asked the lady for some gravy on my food she say no we don'thave any and shuts the door in my face. Im traveling from atl passing threw and decide to stop and get food a friend recommendedthis spot to me its the customer service and the food for me I will never come again no sir! AMAZING FOOD! I had the remix with jerk ?chicken,? and curry chickpeas. And a large Irish Moss. I honestly didn?t expect the... food to be that good... or that spicy. Exactly what I love. I had a very good experience at Sweet Sosumba Cafe. I ordered the Jerk Ital Stew and a Mango Pineapple smoothie. I loved the... fact that it's cooked the traditional way. Ital. No added salt just natural herbs and spices so you can add as much/little saltand pepper to your liking. There was nice roots dub playing and it just felt cozy and nice. Loy (I hoped I spelled it right????)and I had very pleasant talk about back home and how times have changed (good and bad) I was full so I took my smoothie home tomy 7yo who gave it a big thumbs up ????????. From all the reviews, we had high expectations, I think the food could be much better. The meals were very bland! We had the... spicy jerk chick?n and it was flavorless, the rice was also dry but the cabbage was good tho. The chickpea burger was alsotasteless. And the side of sweet plantains were dry, and not even sweet! Read more
