Quality has really gone down and the prices are steep. I could justify eating here in the past because of the authenticity and... quality of the ingredients, but the molettes are not what they used to be. The sobrasada con miel sandwich tasted spoiled andwas doused with an unreasonable amount of honey, making it extremely unenjoyable. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this spot. Read more

Nice Spanish shop and restaurant! Here you can find a lot of Spanish goodies and pastry as well. We had here a breakfast, our... sandwiches with Iberico and Serrano ham was tasty, artisan bread was crispy and delicious, and coffee was also good. Read more

I was happily surprised to come across this restaurant for my work-time lunch. I ordered just a single empanada (wasn't that... hungry) and was happily surprised when it came with a little side salad, I think the total was less than $7. Definitely a greatlunch option! They had a lot of traditional tapa options, outdoor seating, and spanish specialties (olive oils, plateware, etc)inside Read more

The empanada taste was just ok. They do not sell individual empanadas, but do offer two small empanadas with a side salad in a... takeaway container for $15 each... which was kind of funny because people typically do not order salad with an empanada. Twoempanada lunch containers cost $30 without beverages. (please don't tell my Spanish family) :- oThese were easily the mostexpensive empanadas I've ever purchased. The employees were kind and the store was clean and nicely designed. Oh and they do notoffer Spanish croquetas. Read more

Excellent tuna sandwich -- large pieces of tuna, tomato, a hardboiled egg, and generous amount of mayonnaise. Gazpacho was... great too, just a small amount of zip. There is also a small Spanish grocery inside as well as baked goods. Read more

I went in knowing it would be expensive, but didn't expect how expensive it was. This is not to say the Mollete i received... wasn't good. The bread is light, the limited toppings help the individual and subtle flavors stand out. They use qualityingredients and take their time with food prep. However, you are spending $13+ on only the sandwich. No side dish or drink, nocombo, just the sandwich. Be prepared. Read more

Yummy high quality restaurant offerings at a convenient and cheerful take-out or sit-down informal market atmosphere. Today I... got the chicken empanadas and tres leches cake for dessert - latter portion was HUGE and all were delicious. Previously triedthe rice pudding which is my favorite dessert from them. Service is helpful and friendly. Will be back (often:-). Read more

Bright and cheerful, this new market and cafe offers Spanish food and homemade bread and pastry. Salads and sandwiches are made... with quality ingredients from Taberna del Alabardero next door. A good place to check for edible gifts imported from Spain. Read more
