Via Sophia was absolutely unreal! My Mom came with me for a work trip and we stumbled upon the restaurant randomly. The food is... outstanding and prices are fair! Our lovely waiter Jose made the entire experience for us. He was beyond accommodating andhelped us with ordering. Not to mention…his kindness didn’t go unnoticed. The complimentary cookies we had tasted incredibleas well. Will definitely be coming back!!! Read more

This place is one of my favorite in DC. If you are in the city please don’t miss this restaurant. It is an Italian restaurant... located in the Hamilton hotel. The food is delicious, perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is wonderful. Beautifully decoratedand very elegant. Every detail is exquisite and nice. The quality of the food is really good, very fresh. Very well preparedand decent portions. It is not a typical restaurant where the portion of pasta fits in a spoon, no. I was very satisfied witheverything. You can eat inside or outside enjoying the view of the park. Highly recommended. I will come back without adoubt!!! Thank you Read more

We were seated quickly right on time with our reservation. We sat in the patio with perfect weather. The food was yummy I had... the NY Strip and subbed the broccolini for the asparagus and my husband ordered the Nordic Cod. Recommend both dishes. The threestars are for the service. We waited quite a while for drinks and never asked for refills on our alcoholic beverages and neverreceived them. We only saw our waiter when we ordered and when we received our check and would have really like to have haddessert and more drinks but we’re so annoyed at the lack of service we decided to have drinks and dessert somewhere else. Gofor the food it is very good, and try sitting inside you may get better service. Read more

Beautiful and delicious food and atmosphere. Waiters are extremely nice. I called our waiter to tell him to give compliments to... the chef for the clam linguine and he got the chef to COME TO OUR TABLE and I told him right there. Was a really nice gestureand I apologize for being so awkward but next time I visit D.C. I'm sure to come back for dinner. Read more

Staying at the hotel I decided to have breakfast at the restaurant. They did an excellent job with the omelets and coffee. I... would recommend visiting this place even if you're not staying at the hotel. A beautiful place and a quiet spot to havebreakfast when they first open in the morning. Read more

Went here to eat and ordered a margarita Pizza, a drink and brussel sprouts. The drink had no alcohol in it. The pizza was not a... true margarita pizza, as it had 1 piece of basil on each slice, over a pizza with almost no cheese at all. Also, there was noflavor in their sauce, the crust was good, thin but cruncy. The only thing that was excellent was their brussel sprouts! Theservice and ambiance was really good, but overall I would never go back. I'm critical with pizza because I live in NYC. Read more

A lovely little corner restaurant on Franklin Park in the Hamilton hotel. A large bar and delightful cocktail menu, this place... is great for after work drinks. Lunchtime is easy here and food is served quickly and thoughtfully. Menu is mostly elevatedHomestyle Italian with classics as well as the contemporary American dish here and there to round out the menu. Read more
