I came for lunch and despite not having a reservation, they were able to sit me with no problem. I had the Nashville hot chicken... sandwich and it was delicious. An upscale take on this traditional sandwich but it was delicious. Had the right amount of kick,but the chicken was both crispy and juicy. Decided to splurge and get the bourbon chocolate cake for dessert, not knowing howlarge it would be. Overall very good all around experience. Read more
Our experience at this establishment went exceptionally well! From the time we walked in the door to the time we walked out.. My... mom and I were warmly greeted by hostesses and kindly walked to our seats (reservation recommended). The decor and aestheticswere visually pleasing.. Our waiter Ante knew his job and did it very well! He let us know the specials, had greatrecommendations, and knew his dishes down to the seasonings. Please don’t hesitate to ask for him if he’s available. Theprices are a bit high but the portions and flavors are well worth it.. IMPECCABLE service and definitely recommend! This was my first time at Yardbird. I went for a birthday brunch and it was excellent. The food was delicious and the cinnamon... roll was the best. It was huge and took me two days to eat. The shrimp and grits was flavorful and with each bite I wanted more.I also had the fried green tomatoes with the pork belly. Very good, but I wish it could have been offered as just an appetizerand not the fried green tomato BLT. I just wanted the tomatoes but because the cost was the same anyway, instead of a sandwich Ijust had them adjust it for me and give me the tomatoes and the pork bellies on top. Again, still delicious. The chicken andwaffles with the spices watermelon a definite recommendation. Our server (waiter)not sure which term is correct but his name wasXavier and he was the absolute best. Will definitely ask for him when I go back. This was our first visit and we were greeted with a warm and pleasant smile. I already knew this was the place to be. We had... reservations and was seated promptly. The atmosphere was comfy, vibrant and well decorated. Our server Ariana was very pleasant,friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was flavorful and delicious not to mention how well garnished it was. Weordered the chicken and waffles which is enough for two, brussel sprouts and the sweet tea braised beef served with mashedpotatoes. Oh not to mention the honey biscuits with choice of butter or jam. Hmmm so good with the jam just a different touch.We would highly recommend Yardbird and cannot wait to return. Read more
The atmosphere and vibe here is so pleasant. The customer service from beginning to end is spectacular. The host at the front... door is wonderful. I ordered the chicken and waffles, it is a lot of food so I would probably recommend sharing. The chicken wasfried to perfection and seasoned well. The macaroni and cheese was a little runny, they could have kept it in the oven foranother 10 minutes but it was also seasoned well and tasty. The devil eggs is a must! Read more
This was my first time here and I love everything about this place! From the first time we entered we were greeted in a nice and... professional manner. I felt at ease knowing that they ask for proof of covid vaccinated card, I personally think all restaurantsshould. Our server was awesome, the food, beverages and dessert was delicious!! Very high end restaurant, the decor, theambiance, comfortable seating arrangements and even the restroom was clean and beautiful!! The service, food, and atmosphere were phenomenal. My server was very attentive and kind. She gave great recommendations and... they didn’t disappoint. While I wasn’t a fan of the grits (the restaurant happily took it off my bill since I wasn’tsatisfied), everything else was flavorful and delicious. The beverages were also fantastic - especially the blackberry mimosa.It was heavy on the champagne, which I was grateful for. I visited this location for my birthday and I must say that the ambiance and food was great. You will not be disappointed by... their signature chicken and waffles. The chicken was nice and tender, while the waffle was crispy on the outside and soft in themiddle. Their syrup was the perfect amount of sweetness. I particularly enjoyed their table service. As much as I enjoyed theirfood (entree) and service, I was immensely disappointed in their most expensive dessert—peach cobbler. It was really a bowl ofheated fruit with oatmeal and brown sugar crumble on top all housed in a fancy inedible (due to hardness) candied or caramelizedraspberry topper. All in all, I would visit again for their entree and choose a different dessert. Read more
