This little coffee and sandwich place in Navarre is a best kept secret. Not far from the middle of town, the place is already... inviting enough when you walk up on the front porch and sit at any of the tables, just to sit and relax on a day with goodweather. When you walk in, there's a huge chalkboard on the right side of the room with loads of menu items, from drinkvariations to sandwiches in variety. There are tables in front of the chalkboard menu so you may have to move closer. In back ofthe room is the counter where they order your food. To the right of the counter is a restroom. To the left when you walk in is agift shop and a leather couch and chair to sit in to relax in. The servers are good and provide just the right service for theirestablishment. Asked for two separate checks and employee sighed like I was an inconvenience, then when I asked for a receipt she slammed her... fist on the counter and sighed again. Absolutely rude and un-called for. Read more
The food and drinks are alright - however, having a small group (six people) come in and order drinks and breakfast, it would be... nice to not be talked about within ear-shot of us. We ordered 6 drinks and after ten to fifteen only received five. When I washanded my drink, the older lady said ?Butter pecan? I?m sorry, caramel macchiato! I?m making the butter pecan next.? Our 6thdrink was a sweet tea. After 3-5 more minutes she was inquired with about the sweet tea. She snapped at us and said she wasdoing that? while making the butter pecan as speaking ???? She proceeded to complain to her coworkers about how ?people don?tunderstand these things take time!? And several other pointed remarks while we were right there.
