I have no problem giving this restaurant a five star review. The service was splendid. The food was fantastic. The ambience was... amazing. How I wish that every restaurant was managed as efficient and clean as this one. The quality of the food was fresh andflavorful. Menu options were more than adequate with many dining choices. The atmosphere was beautiful, no doubt about it. I got a vegetable based meal, however I added the optional protein. The... vegetables were a "California blend" you can find in the frozen section of a grocery store. The sauce the veggies were served inwas decent but lacking any real flavor. The protein was cooked well, and was very moist. Maybe I ordered the wrong meal. I wouldnot order or recommend the meal I had, but I am more than willing to try something else off their menu. Nice restaurant inside of The Lied Lodge near the entryway. The rolls served first are good and they offer regular or blueberry... butter. The entrees were decent. I had some pretty sad looking steak frites, but the steak was cooked perfectly ( definitelynot worth 36 dollars though). The Cajun pasta was good. They did offer free dessert for my girlfriends birthday that was yummy. Read more

My wife and I stayed at the Lied Lodge and ate three meals at Timbers. Service was good. The place was clean with very nice... ambience. The food, with the exception of our breakfast potatoes (terribly salty - they did replace them and they were betterbut still salty), was excellent. The baked Brie and Tiramisu were easily the best I've ever enjoyed. I'll gladly go back. Read more

We ate all three meals there on our anniversary weekend the food was so good and the portions were big you definitely got what... you paid for. Beautiful warming atmosphere, the food was hot and served in a timely manor, wait staff was friendly and courteousand helpful. Very nicely dressed work uniforms definitely would return. Read more

Spent Valentine’s Day here & it was FANTASTIC!! Service was excellent. The BEST drink I’ve ever had; chocolate covered... strawberry martini. Had a 4 course meal and every dish was divine. Highly recommend. Read more

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food and service are without a doubt the best I’ve experienced. Special thanks to Rebecca,... who always makes us feel so welcome. She goes out of her way to make our non alcoholic drinks special and crafty. I have eatenhere with my husband quite a few times now. We can both say, we have never been disappointed with a dish. The dish’s areappealing not only to the palate but, the eyes as well. They are beautiful crafted. Almost too pretty to eat, we enjoy everymorsel. The waitresses are also very attentive and keep the dinning area very clean, neat and tidy. All around amazingexperience. Come dine with them and you won’t be disappointed. Read more

Complimenting the decor of the lodge, the dining room is beautiful and gave me the feeling of a mountain-side resort. Our... waitress was polite with that "small-town" friendly demeanor that Nebraska is known for. The food was hit-or-miss though. TheMushroom Flatbread was delicious. The Cajun Pasta was a little disappointing with the chicken breast being dry and tough whilehaving the flavor of being reheated after spending a few days in the refrigerator; it definitely was not fresh. The Half Chickenplate was quite good though, being flavorful and tender. The tiramisu was very good, not overly sweet, and quite light. A niceway to finish off such a heavy meal. For the cost, I would definitely expect higher standards, but the ambiance really helped tooffset the quality of the food. I will say though that the portion sizes were large enough to fill even the most hungry ofstomachs. If you're staying at the lodge, the convenience of not having to leave the property in order to find something to eatcan be very attractive, just keep in mind that the quality of food you're receiving my not be on par with the prices you'repaying.
