River City Pizza was great. There's no pizza like NYC/NJ pizza, but this place was one of the best western pizza joints I've... been to. They have great prices (we got two, two-topping pies for $20) and it was ready in the exact amount of time they told usit was going to be ready. I don't get out to Needles very often at all, but next time I'm there I'll grab myself a pie at RiverCity. Read more

We were only in Needles for a few days but the lasagna and antipasto salad were so good that we came back again to try their... pizza. Had a half and half split pizza and the veggies still had just enough crispness to make me smile around the bubblingcheese. Both meals were delicious, fast, and freshly made. They also had beer and wine available. A few TVs were playing sports.GREAT AC (if you have been to Needles, you'll understand the importance)! 7/10/22 Visiting from CA. Called Hunter's, who opens at 7 am, but they don't deliver until after 11 & food would get to us after... 11:45. Hunter's staff was not very friendly. Then we called River City Pizza, They deliver as soon as they open with friendlyservice and the meat lovers pizza was delicious! Pizza arrived by 11:05 am. :-). This place was a find! If you're looking for a good pizza place in Needles, this is it. Our experience started off poorly. The... interior was a bit of a mess with pizza boxes stacked on tables, seating was very limited for our party of 5, and two newemployees made ordering harder than it should have been. We wanted a calzone but once we paid we were told it would be 45minutes, so we changed our order. We sat down to eat not expecting much. But then the food came. I got the meatball sub and itwas one of the best I've ever eaten. The meatballs were ok, but it's the bread and the cheese and the sauce that make itexceptoonal. The lasagna is really, really good too. I liked the pizza, but not as much as the sub and lasagna. Their sauce hasa hint of sautéed onions that really sets it off, and the cheese is just wonderful. I can also recommend the salads - thedressing is wonderful and the veggies are fresh. I recommend takeout since seating is limited for the time being. We'redefinitely going here again next time in Needles. Read more
