I used to visit this location multiple times a week to get rootbeer cones. But for the past few months I've decided to not visit... as often because of recurrent poor service. Last night, I went through the drive thru and ordered 2 rootbeer cones. With 2 carsahead of me at 8:15pm, I waited 15 minutes for my cones. When I finally got them, they came out half melted (I assumed themachine was malfunctioning) and I found a small brown piece in my ice cream. I picked it out and it looked like earwax but hadthe consistency of caramel. We ended up throwing them away and going elsewhere for ice cream. Horrible. Half hour wait in drive thru for a combo and a side shake. My Kids shake was milk by time I got home (2 min away) as... it was given 15 min b4 food came. No requested condiments or napkins. Called manager, even more disappointed. Read more
Impressive. The staff is flexible. Definitely a bargain with quality. I had the " pappaburger" with a great mayo concoction. The... fries alone are worth a visit here. I hadn't been to Neenah since before the pandemic. Now! found my place. Read more
Food and service were good. However, I was taken aback by the fact that they took my credit card, swiped it (inside) and then... stuck their credit card machine out the window into my window. I could not read the credit card machine due to the sun. I askedwhy I needed to sign for such a small purchase and she said that she put it there so I could give her a tip. I have never had anemployee at any restaurant stick a tip jar into my face. Please don't try to normalize this. Read more
Tried to order outside, and due to ?employee shortage,? we had to come into the lobby to order. I didn?t think anything of it... and was totally Understanding until I went in to order and there were about 6 employees total. Mind you, it was around 8:30pmso not busy at all. Then I ordered two ice cream treats and waited for about 20 minutes for them?. And there was only one personahead of me. I sat down in their waiting area and could see into the kitchen while I was waiting, and 4/6 employees werestanding around not doing much. Then, i had to remind them what I ordered because they forgot and were dragging. Not to mention,it?s absolutely filthy in this place. We couldn?t even sit outside comfortably to eat our ice cream because the tables weresticky and the garbages were overflowing. If you plan to go to this A&W, just walk/drive a minute more to the Culver?s close by. Read more
We usually love to go to A&W to get root beer floats after a warm day outside & a pup cup for our dog. Was disappointed tonight... when we pulled up to the drive through line at 20:19 and sat for a few minutes, only to overhear on the speaker from the car infront of us trying to order that they were closed since he was the only 1 working. I understand in this day and age findingstaff is hard but when we first arrived there were 2 cars in front his car that got their orders. I would think if you havepeople in the drive through and hours say you are open till 2100, you would want our business. Read more
Customer service was good. Dining inside and it was clean. Hot food is decent, not great. The cold treats are the better than... the food. Can?t beat an A&W root beer in a frosty mug. All in all a good place to stop for some good and drinks during thesummer. Read more
I'm a regular here. I always get their Sriracha cheese curds. The best fried cheese curds with a little kick. Friendly staff... even when they were short staffed and a line in drive thru 10 cats deep, they still were so cheerful and pleasant that alonewould get me to come back. Great job y'all. Don't miss out on the nostalgic rootbeer ot rootbeer float . Sure to bring back somefond memories. Good times Read more
