In what has become a bit of a Spring tradition with my wife's family, we again dined at The Wildcat this Easter Sunday for their... all you can eat buffet. Prior reservations (beginning at 11:00 a.m.) for this glorious feast are a must. I suggest callingthem at least 4 weeks in advance of Easter Sunday! The cost per adult was $25. Normally a rather hefty sum for the Northwoodsof Neillsville, Clark County, WI, but NOT for this "horn of plenty"!! Per usual, there was a veritable mountain of half-peeledshrimp on ice with a great horseradish cocktail shrimp sauce, beef tips and gravy, fried chicken, baked ham, Kielbasa sausages, with mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy, fresh cooked veggies, wonderful salad bar and fixings, and no less than 6 differentdesserts including a delicious custard parfait with crisp cookie. Coffee and milk was included as well. I apologize in advancefor not knowing of a children's price for this feast. I also believe that they serve this brunch on Mothers' Day as well butcheck with The Wildcat to confirm the same. The restaurant, bar and restrooms rooms were all exceptionally clean. The soledrawback is that the entrance to the restaurant is NOT disabled access (with a five step stairs if memory serves correct) andthe restroom entrances are too narrow for a wheelchair ?. The lack of disabled access and restrooms prevented a five starreview in my opinion. Other than that, the friendly maitre d, bartenders and wait staff, fully stocked bar and the very clean, pleasant rustic atmosphere and wonderful food will make for a delightful visit and culinary experience! Tried this place out while on a motorcycle ride with my wife. Old school supper club feel, taxidermy displays, etc. Big... selection of specialty drinks, especially old fashioneds. We weren't super hungry, so we shared an order of the beef roastpoutine. AMAZING. Absolutely delicious, and in a portion so big we both ate our fill and had leftovers to take home. Willdefinitely be back. Read more
