Today my friends and I went to eat at the restaurant to which I wasn't aware of until today (sadly I've been there a few times... but other went to the distillery). AMAZING food and have a large selection of their drinks. The only thing you aren't able tobuy that you could at the distillery is the vodka, whiskey and bourbon. We have always enjoyed the river and scenery behind the main building. Their new distillery is a must-stop. New whiskey, vodka,... and bourbon. I preferred whiskey and bourbon and these definitely earned a spot on my shelf at home(bottles only available tobuy here), my wife likes the vodka which is distilled 5 times, smooth. One of my all time favorite spots. The blackberry cider is beyond delicious (I miss the glass bottles!) and the view is amazing.... I love it when they have little festivals with live music and food trucks, although their house food is also delicious and Ibelieve they change their menu with the seasons. Love this place, attended a bluegrass event in 2020. Visited today 6/28/22. Great food, taco Tuesday, enjoyed 3 different... tacos,chicken, beef and a roasted cauliflower one?.mmm. Awesome venue! And great people working there, too! So many varieties offered, it's hard to choose which one to get - so try a... flight to help you decide! Cool merchandise, plenty of their awesome Cider to take home with you, as well. It was so relaxing,sitting on the deck & enjoying the scenery! They offer food as well, and everything looked & smelled fantastic, but we didn'tget anything to eat. We want to go back again, so we'll try the goodies then! I can definitely recommend this as a great placeto visit, hang out, chill - spend an hour or the afternoon! (Friendly) Dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Great appetizers and shareables. Views from outdoor sitting area are incredible. Clean, friendly staff, beautiful landscaping... and feels like you're right inside nature. Ciders are great, suggest the flight to find the ones you like most. Well worth thehike to the top, where you can reward yourself with a frosty mug. This is the perfect place to enjoy the evening post hikes in Shenandoah national park. Their blackberry and roast ciders are... amazing. The outdoor seating is simply mind blowing with a lot of place to sit and have fun. The stream flowing besides thecidery adds cherry on the top to the location of this cidery. Staff is helpful and suggests good choices for first time visitorsor new to ciders. Read more
