Classic North American Chinese restaurant that?s been operating in/near the Country Place neighborhood for decades. Super nice... family runs the place. Perfect for takeout. Favourites are the Peking beef, salt and pepper pork, Singapore noodles, almondchicken guy ding, veggies in spicy sauce, but it?s all fantastic. Read more

Food was cold and it took 2 1/2 hours from the time we ordered it to the time it was ready.. I understand they were short... staffed but they could have had the decency to inform us when we placed the order.. ridiculous!! Read more

Ordered a dinner for 6 through Uber Eats. Food arrived in time, but the Shrimp and vegetables smelled like week old gym shoes... ... the shrimp were thoroughly rotten. Can't believe the restaurant sent the food anyway, if I had not noticed this kitchenmistake could have landed my whole family in the hospital. Rest of the food was good, but I don't think they are doing enoughbusiness to keep their ingredients fresh. Read more

Went for the lunch buffet. Horrid. Just horrid. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences i have ever been... through. Lunch buffet is advertised as served from 12 to 2. Arrived at 1245, to a very depleted buffet table but was told "weare making new food." The only new food that was served were more deep fried chicken balls and egg rolls. No noodles, no rice,no meat or vegetable dishes. What little food was available was astoundingly bad quality...the dozen or so patrons in therestaurant had to scrape the bottom of the serving trays, to get at the lukewarm remnants of a couple veg and meat dishes. Itappears they put one serving of anything even marginally fresh, and, once gone, neglected to produce anymore, content to throwsome low quality filler food in a deep fryer and serve that. I was so astounded at the sheer awfulness of it that i took acouple of photos to show the dismal state of the "buffet". These were taken around 1pm, just halfway through lunchservice. This is a family run Chinese restaurant. A little hidden gem in Ottawa. Very friendly. Food is very good. Price is better than... other places as well. Their chicken wings are delicious. Their spring rolls are crispy and full of meat! Read more

Lunchtime review: if you're looking for a genuine hole-in-the-wall, but fresh Chinese-Canadian buffet made in small-batches,... this is your place! Good variety, price; ice-cream included. Egg rolls rival some of Ottawa's 'other' famous egg-rollestablishments. A must-try if you're all about the buffet and not atmosphere. Caution for people with mobility or immunityissues: bathrooms are in basement (circa 1960's!?) and are a disaster...plan accordingly! Read more
