Before I write my review it was nothing about the service. He was great. Just the food? I got the fettuccine Alfredo and I?m not... one to exaggerate but the noodles were as hard as pure oak table. Sauce tasted like it had more water in it than actual sauceand the chicken was rubbery. I?ve never written a review before but this genuinely felt like a loss of 22$. Read more
Not a good experience. Floor under table was dirty and the material in the booth on the seat was ripped. First we ordered... calamari. They brought them and they were all breading and very tiny , burnt circles. I ordered a burger with arugala andgarlic sauce. The bun was black and burnt and the meat was black and hard. My husband ordered chicken parm and spaghetti andthe parm was very overcooked and spaghetti was not appetizing. We also had 4 different people waiting on us. The wholeexperience was unappetizing. Visited 6 pm, today 03Apr2022. First time in East Side Mario's. I like the place, the ambiance. Staff are friendly and... organized. Value for money is ?? . The food we ordered were tasty. Surprisingly good. Didn't wait too much time for ourfood. We had garlic bread to start. We ordered All-you-can-eat Caesar Salad, Linguine Chicken Amatriciana, and Mario'sSpaghettini and Meatballs. Amazing food. Amazing ambience. Loved their Budda boomers. You get a choice to make your own pasta and pizza. Their peach frozen... Rosé is must try. The day I went was a weekday and still their service was very slow . Read more
I know they're trying but they need to try harder. Very little staff. A few waitresses and what appeared to be one cook/salad... maker. We were sat at a booth right behind an occupied one, even though there was tons of room to seat us at one a booth apart. My Ceasar salad was iceberg lettuce with a few bits of romaine thrown in, and a sprinkling of bacon. The waitresses wereapologetic and offered to get me another one, but I knew my food would take longer if the cook was busy with a salad and notcooking, so I declined. He also had his mask below his nose while making salads. Ew. My 'large' make your own pasta was alaughable amount of food, considering it was 97% pasta and 3% shrimp. I get more pasta in a tv dinner. ESM used to be a greatchain to eat at, but it seems like as a whole it has gone downhill the last 6-7 years. Even more so now because of the pandemicand people leaving service jobs. I won't be back here for a while (or the Kanata location either, which was so poorly staffedthey couldn't even serve us today, so we came to this one). Read more
Amazing service at this location. We left east sides on Kirkwood to come to this location, and it did not disappoint. Rich was... our server and he was very quick at bringing us bread right away, our drinks quickly and salad! Everything about this outing wasgreat and we thank you very much for taking good care of us! Would go back to this location in the future and it?s quite farfrom my place but worth the drive! Read more
