I have not had a bad sandwich from Frankie's. The only thing I don't like is that I have to go all the way to the airport from... Kanata to get one of these great sandwiches. Really miss their Bell Corners location. Always friendly staff when I go in toorder. Soups are good too. Looking forward to my next visit. Read more

Had a sandwich for lunch today and had their special which was 3 meat. The bun was nice and fresh, the 3 meats was crispy ... chicken , donair beef ( I think ) and bacon. Super well made sandwich, not messy at all for the amount of stuff was on thereplus what I added. Easy 5 star and a must try! Easily one of the best sandwiches is Ottawa. One of my favorite sandwich spots to stop by for lunch! I ordered their Porto Sandwich, which is loaded with marinated... portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, Brie cheese, and baby spinach. And the Frankie?s Mixed Sandwich, which is stuffedwith hot and mild genoa salami, hot and mild capocollo, mortadella, and provolone cheese. Both sandwiches were super generousportion size. On our first visit here we were greeted by super friendly staff who were very efficient. There might be a short but fast moving... line during lunch. They have their regular menu and also some daily special soups and sandwiches. We opted for the Sicilian andthe special Roast Beef Smash which came with a horseradish mayo and onion rings. You can customize it with several veggie andsauce toppings. Both were tasty but I found that the bread was a bit chewy and there wasn't as much toppings for the lettuce andpickles so we just added more ourselves at home. The deli meats itself was generous! Today was my third visit to Frankie?s Deli, definitely not my last. Every visit is met with friendly and efficient staff. Today... I had a question about their Bombay Butter Chicken soup. Not only did they answer the question but they gave me a sample to try.As someone who is a very fussy eater I really appreciated that. I have to say it was so good I ordered a small bowl with theirCanadian sandwich. It is easily one of my new fave soups. The portions are so generous that I have enough for two meals.
